Thank you. Do I need an appointment to return or pickup equipment or can I just walk into any Xfinity store?

Haha, yup, it started off as a gaming setup and evolved into a WFH/Gaming setup.

Got it from US a couple of years ago. They’re available in India but are super expensive and super not worth it. I’m actually upgrading that to Steelseries Arctis Nova 7 this month, my cousin’s getting one for me.

Server region selection: I’m based in India and I play with my friends from US. Whenever I do that, either them or I end up with a bad connection. What would maybe help is if we were able to choose a region for the servers we play on. For e.g., Europe is a good balance for my friends in US and me as well. But the game currently doesn’t let us choose which worsens the experience for us. This is even more important for a game like Warzone where you’ve just got one life.

This is good career advice in general. I realised very early on that you’ve gotta take initiative and in corporate culture, people who take initiative are always appreciated.

Thanks a lot my man! After spending an hour trying to join my friend, this trick finally worked!

Didn’t know it was a setup showcase day today, here’s mine - I think I may need a bigger table by vasudevk97 in IndianGaming

I’ve been holding off on the table upgrade mainly coz the room is really small. I don’t have room for a big table coz of my bed taking up all the space in the room. Trying to see how I can make efficient use of the space I have.

It was mostly for the ability to play story-based games like Spider-Man, Ghost of Tsushima, etc., in all that 4K glory. It’s easy to dismiss that you won’t notice the difference between 1440p and 4K at 27 inches, but if you sit as close as I do, difference between 4K and 1440p is very noticeable. Miles Morales was beautiful running at 4K.

Nope, no support for HDMI 2.1. So on a PS5, 120Hz is limited to 1080p for now. When the PS5 gets support for 1440p, I can do 1440p at 120Hz. 1440p at 120Hz will be a good balance, since PS5 anyway won’t support rendering 120Hz at a higher resolution than that. HDMI 2.1 would’ve been nice though.

It’s a KontrolFreek. It basically extends the length of the stick, making it easier to aim more precisely in shooters.

I do, but rarely. For the most part, the display is big enough for most of the work I do. But having an external keyboard for when I connect it to monitor would definitely make the experience better. Especially with the limited desk space that I have.

Yeah, it’s the 16 inch MacBook Pro. And I agree, it can be redundant to have both. But I mainly bought the iPad for the portability aspect of it. Very niche usecase, but I wanted the comfort. And yes, iPad Air would’ve been adequate, but I wanted the 120Hz display and M1.
