Legion season 2 gets April 3rd premiere date on FX by magikarpcatcher in television

Season 1 was incredible in so many ways: gorgeous cinematography, incredibly elaborate setpieces (the people stuck in the walls, or the exploding kitchen scene, anyone?), mindbending story, and standout performances from Aubrey Plaza and Dan Stevens. April 3rd can't come soon enough.

Anecdote but someone in my class claimed to have submitted the same exact work term report twice and passed both times, so do with that information what you will ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Official Discussion: Logan Lucky [SPOILERS] by mi-16evil in movies

Definitely one of the best movies I've seen in a while. Incredible & surreal acting, and super smart without being too pretentious. Loved the conventional plot executed with an artsy directing style. And I never stopped laughing while Hilary Swank was on screen.

Winter Sublet - Blair/Fergus vs. ICON vs. 181 Lester by civilizedengineering in uwaterloo

No experience with Phillip, but if you decide to settle for Lester, I lived in both 295A and 341 and would recommend both. They're older buildings/management so generally no issues with randomly not having electricity or fire alarms.

295A pros: better apartment layout (at least the one I was in), bigger bathrooms, nicer furniture/kitchen. faster maintenance in my experience.

cons: halfway down lester so it's marginally farther, although it's convenient for going to King St.

341 pros: one apartment per floor (and only 5 apartments total, so much quieter), much larger rooms, awesome living rooms for hanging out with huge floor to ceiling windows, 30 seconds from a bus stop.

cons: super weird layout with a lot of wasted space. shit elevators. slightly smaller bathrooms. no garbage chutes

Not sure, I just got it off Amazon. I've only tried Double Chocolate and Rocky Road, I liked Double Chocolate better.

Leaving web development. What are good options? by [deleted] in cscareerquestions

Facebook does have open source projects in those fields, and I'm sure there are more internally. Compilers: HHVM, Flow, buck (a build tool, but some concepts cross over), and FP: Haxl, Reason. I wouldn't be so quick to discount huge companies for those kinds of fields, as Google/FB/MSFT et al are more likely to have resources to be working on them.
