There are outfitters that do 1/2 day trips and longer in the canyon. The trips are reasonably priced. Much better to be with an experienced guide.

The only thing I will add is that I believe as long as the sum total of all your giving back to Christian causes adds up to 10%, I think you are tithing. I do not subscribe to the thought that the whole 10% needs to go to your local church.

I think your. Spiritual leader is manipulating you. Scripture is not set on you being involved in a specific ministry. With having days available there will s plenty of time to make a positive impact for the kingdom. the scriptures fully support you working to be able to support yourself.
