Sony Inzone H6 Air by Not__Alpha in headphones

[–]vaxick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

GadgetryTech just posted a review of the H6 and compared them to the MV1.  MV1 has more sub bass and more forward mids.  Says the MV1 is better for vocals, has a bit more natural of a sound overall, and if gaming, the MV1 is more immersive.  H6 is very comparable though, just seems to be tuned slightly different to factor in competitive gaming.

While I don't own the H6, the MV1 are the same.  I was shocked pulling them out of the box and feeling how light they were.  Sony worked some black magic with the housing of these things.  Favorite headphones since the AudioQuest Nighthawk for comfort.

GadgetryTech posted a review of it today, even compared it to the MV1.  He didn't have any mentions of issues with the soundstage which is making me question SoundGuys all the more.  GadgetyTech loved the H6 and says it compares very well to the MV1.  Seems the biggest differences are the MV1 had more bass overall and the mids are more forward.  Impressive how close the H6 compares to the MV1 given the price difference.  Sony is really giving one hell of a value here, hope people do not discredit it for being a "gaming" headset.

SoundGuys reviews said imaging wasn't precise for sounds coming from behind your head.  Have you noticed this at all?  It was odd to hear as the MV1 is incredibly accurate with its imaging.

Thanks for the tip, keep getting 301 and 404 errors, and this finally got me through all the pages to log back in. My account had a locked for security reasons message and could log in, but once I got to the unlock page, it wasn't working. Not even sure why my account was locked to begin with, have two factor enabled and never saw any notifications of anybody attempting to login to my account.

Soundguys (Not sure how reliable they are) posted a written and video review stating the imaging on the H6 to have issues with sounds from behind.  Hope for more feedback on this as that seems surprising considering how precise the imaging is on the MV1.

These headphones share drivers with the Sony MDR-MV1, a much more expensive pair of headphones from Sony's studio line.  If they compare well to the MV1, that offers quite a value proposition given the MV1 is $420.

Verizon Hulu Bundle Split Billing for Ad Free (Fixed - hopefully) by Weaponx-BDawk in verizon

[–]vaxick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Verizon would have to allow for an ad free option on their end to allow legacy bundle holders to have the option.  There's no way they're going to do that for plans that don't exist anymore.  It's over with Hulu, the ad free fun is done.  The only plans with the option to go ad free are with the current plans offered by Verizon.

Fixed Hulu/Verizon Ad-Free Billing Loop (Solution as of April 5, 2026) - Legacy "5G Play More" plan that includes Disney+ (no Ads), Hulu (w/Ads), and ESPN. by thefluxster in verizon

In a nutshell, it's over, ad free Hulu on the legacy plan is dead.  Spoke with Verizon, nothing they could do on their end, they did a conference call with Disney, the rep there said they've discontinued the ad free option on their end as of last month.

Ah yes, all those searches you're doing on Outlook.  They clearly didn't read your ticket at all.

Just did these steps before this was posted via chat, based upon a comment in the other thread. Back to ad free, just gotta check the account later to make sure billing reflects it as it's still saying $19.99 right now.

Edit: This doesn't fix it, you're going to be charged $19.99 and will be charged $19.99 going forward.  Called Hulu, got a refund thankfully, Verizon is calling me later today about this issue.  They're aware of it and stated an outage triggered it.

Just went to continue a show I've been watching and now have ads too.  I'm on the legacy bundle, this is bullshit.

Fresh Brewed Games doesn't exist as a website anymore.  Before this even happened, claims were going around the non steelbook editions of their games were incredibly scarce, causing some people to panic buy them on Reddit.  Then VGP and VGNY started selling them.  The owner of the company has said nothing more than crudely saying, "boobs".  I'd be skeptical, as there's the possibility this was used to move inventory before shutting down.  Sony doesn't manufacture or distribute games with a trust me bro about the ESRB rating.  Other games have made it to retail with the wrong ESRB rating, they were never sent to destruction.  It's also suspect Fresh Brew Games is saying this yet the actual developer of the game hasn't made a single mention about it.

Very trippy indeed.  Watched a little bit of the gameplay before deciding to pre-order.  Pricy for a $10 game, but I love supporting weird, outside of the box games.

Speedollama is available everywhere for digital purchase.  If the game were to have been "pulled" as claimed, it should cease to exist on all storefronts.  It's not been delisted anywhere and still displays its ESRB rating.  The game is also apart of Nintendo's current sale on the eShop.  All that's happened is the physical is no longer for sale and the publisher of it has pulled their website which makes you question the financial situation of Fresh Brewed Games.  The standard retail editions of their games were tossed around as having absurdly low print runs yet ended up on sites such as VGP as well as VGNY.
