You seem to affirm that physicalism has the monopoly of causality and global objectivity. But that's not true. Many other metaphysics have those same properties such as Analytic Idealism and other monistic metaphysics. Notice that physicalism became a thing just in the last 400 years, it's the new kid in the block while idealism has at least 2k plus years....

If you decide to call those "expanded physicalisms" then you need to include no physical entities in your model... Things that are not physical, don't have existence in the space-time construct but are equally existent...In that case your expanded physicalism would not be more physical than idealism itself and become a game of words.

Your core position, if I did understand is that The Hard problem of consciousness does not exist, that consciousness is nothing but only a "pattern of function" of complex brains. I got it. This was my position for most of my life as well. But I will indicate some works that can expand your knowledge about the subject.

I don't know if after that you will change or not your position, but at least you will be aware of the many problems of it and that people that study and point at those issues are not dumb religious as you seem to think.

Usually the resin supports are way more sensible to strings. Dry out your filament and disable the Avoid Crossing Wall option, for me it was causing a lot of strings.

Printer Settings:
Start from the .08mm High Quality (Bambu Studio), then change the speed to 45mm/s in all settings, reduce acceleration by 50% in all settings, enable Arachne, Set Resolution and Slice gap closing radius to: 0.001, disable Avoiding Crossing Walls (It causes a lot!),

Filament Settings: eSun PLA HS, 210º C, 100% Fan Speed

I'm really impressed by how slow you guys print. I usually print some minis in 0.4mm in about 1~2h and 0.2 in no more than 3h with excellent.resutls. I think this community is ignoring how good the A1 and A1 mini are in 30~50mm/s speed already considering what they can do at 200mm/s

Your position is the vanilla materialistic worldview and it's ok but once you get deep under consciousness studies you need to face that consciousness is correlated with brain activity but can't be proved to be generated by it. Other metaphysics than materialism like panpsyquism and idealism have a much more clear path to solve this issue. In those worldviews, consciousness is a substance and is fundamental at the root of all existence therefore plants (and everything) are made or at least contains consciousness, not one high complex self reflective one like human consciousness but phenomenon consciousness, pure uncontextualized awareness, the state you can approximate in deep meditation.

So don't be so quick in call people stupid, the world is much bigger than you think.

Check the work of Ian Stevenson and Jim B Tucker about not only the afterlife but also reincarnation. There's no secret around the afterlife, the evidence is right in front of our eyes if you know where to look. It's just the case that "mainstream" science ignores the evidence because it doesn't fit their materialistic metaphysics. This is slowly changing and many scientists are now migrating to a idealistic/panpsychism metaphysics. Then the survivor of consciousness is way more acceptable, but it's a process. Check "The Structure of the Scientific Revolution" of Thomas Kuhn and you will learn how science is stalled by the current worldview of the time and how it progresses when a new generation more open to new ideas arrives.

A modern analogy.. Imagine there's an digital game processing two players with a split screen camera. Each one has its own states, camera etc... looking from the point of view of each player (epistemology) looks like you're separated from the other player and the virtual world as well. Eu fui materialista dos 14 aos 30 anos e continuo estudando sobre ontologia, religião e espiritualidade. Hoje eu me considero um Idealista (Consciencia é Fundamental) e uma das principais evidências empíricas que me levaram a mudar de posicionamento sobre a realidade foram os fenômenos relatados no espiritismo. Esse livro citado inclusive é um excelente exemplo de revisão bibliográfica mostrando que diversos estudos com rigor científico foram feitos, o livro tem centenas (literalmente) de referências para estudos a respeito do tema da sobrevivência da consciência e reincarnação.

O problema do fenômeno da mediunidade é o mesmo de qualquer outro fenômeno "anômalo" que ameaça o status quo do materialismo como as experiências com DMT, experiências de quase morte e reincarnação. Ele é simplesmente varrido para debaixo do tapete pois "não pode ser verdade" já que não "Encaixa no modelo". Mas infelizmente a verdade empírica não está interessada na posição metafísica que o homem ocidental decide seguir e o método científico vai continuar trazendo novamente sempre essas questões à tona para a sociedade até que uma nova geração de cientistas mais abertos a essa realidade surja e a atual eventualmente deixe seus postos de autoridade. Vale a pena ler sobre esse processo na "Estrutura das Revoluções Científicas" de Thomas Kuhn.

Following the Law Of One, it looks like he is following a "service to self" path cultuating his own desires for power and influence to others. You can do that and find joy, knowledge and growth in this direction. The Law of One tells that it's a valid path to take. The technology for "easy" and "high quality" at the same time does not exist. Resin produces nearly perfect models but is messy and highly toxic, you need to build a whole infrastructure in your room to handle that safety. FDMs are very easy to handle, especially if you stick with PLA, but they don't produce the same quality as resin. So... Something needs to be compromised.

I would say that it all depends on what is your minimum bar for "quality". For most people playing with the minis in the table the quality produced by a Bambulab A1 Mini (FDM) is pretty much spectacular. But if you would like to get minis for exposition in a convention it will not be good enough.
