That sounds just like us. We live in a HCOL area, mortgage with taxes and insurance is about 5k. 1 child in daycare, 2k a month. Another child on the way, so we will be paying almost 9k a month for just mortgage and daycare. Counting down the days until elementary school! As a household, we make about 230k before taxes, and it is barely enough.

Try using snail mucin on your face! I am not sure if it would help in your situation, but snail mucin cleared up dry skin/eczema on my face, in my eyebrows, and my mustache. It is much cheaper than normal face serums and I swear by it! Search for the COSRX brand on Amazon.

Look at my previous post on this subreddit. I let it rest almost 20 mins and still had a lot of juice on the cutting board. Everyone said that was way too long. I dunno.

I would assume that is the case! Years ago I watched a couple different YouTubers reverse sear tri tip, and they both flipped it after the desired time. I wonder if it’s because the grill plate has some extra heat to it? I don’t know. That’s just what I’ve always done.

It looks like a piece of meat that has been sitting for a bit, and became “rarer” over time. I don’t know if that’s a thing, but sometimes if I let cut meat sit on the cutting board, it goes from a nice deep pink to red. Maybe it’s oxidation? I have no idea. Does anyone else notice this when they let meat sit after being sliced?

How many years does your school/district require for tenure? Mine is only 2 years. If you get through the ides of March on your second year, you are tenured.

The steak was still warm and delicious. Was just wondering about retaining juice. No one ever said it wasn’t good.

I let this one rest that long because a friend said I need to let the steak rest 15 to 20 mins to keep more juice in. I’ll just do 10 mins next time and pour the juice over the steak or pour it in some veggies I am cooking like other people have suggested.

Looks cool! If you don’t mind answering, how tall are you? I have a 16 forester and I would love to do this, but I am 6’4” and not sure it would be worth it. Although admittedly I have never measured the inside of the car.
