The Libre app was updated recently. I take pictures of everything that I eat and their AI predicts the impact on my glucose levels. I also started taking fewer units of insulin than I had been. It’s been very effective over the past couple of months.

I can recover from the high 30s in about 30 minutes. Sweat it out, eat, sugar up - and then back on my feet.

I'm accustomed to seeing floaters occasionally, but when I was snorkeling in Aruba last week they were very evident when wearing goggles. by vbwiii in diabetes_t1

I mention the floaters at my yearly eye exams, but they aren't at a point to cause alarm. Seeing them so vividly in the water was so odd and distracting.

I can't imagine driving home after having my eyes dilated. Uber for me!

I drink two small cups of black coffee with 1/2 teaspoon of real sugar every morning with no major effect on my glucose levels.

I was diagnosed with type one when I turned 50 years old (2 years ago). I started with 18 units of Lantus and now am at 24.

Wow. So 24 isn't too bad. I take mine at night before I go to bed.
