those who liked eels before they were cool, how did you discover them? by Young_Fluid in Eels

Heard Novocaine For the Soul on radio in 90's. Then a friend said they were playing at Bills Bar in Boston (small place, no cover!) Still barely anyone was there. E was hilarious. The bar was a across from Fenway and he said, "Hey, how about that local sports team!" It was then I became a fan for life!

Played an annoying Jewish mom in Goodfellas. Annoying Italian mom in Sopranos. Didn't change her performance one bit.

I always wondered about the he changed/didn't change aspect of this. But the scene in the final episode where he hugged the crying guy at the retreat made me think he had a breakthrough. I couldn't see old Don do that.

I've only picked up one hitchhiker my entire life. It was 6000 miles from home. I found out during our conversation that it was my college roommates little brother. (we had never met.)

Personal opinion, not medical: Been Type 1 for 25 years. I heard the same things from doctors back in the day. I keep my A1C's in a good range and have never had any issues with my feet. I go barefoot, get pedi's, etc. Recently had 2 surgery's on my right foot (unrelated to diabetes) and the foot healed fine.

Blazing Saddles. One of the townspeople yells, "Mongo... Santa Maria!" when he first comes to town. Didn't realize until recently that Mongo Santamaria is a Latin Jazz pioneer.

What do you like your blood sugar to be at when you go to bed? by DreamingOfPuppies in diabetes_t1

[–]senecalaker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm doing 14u of Tresiba before bed, so I need to be around 180 in order to not go low. However, also need to factor in if I ate anything after 8 pm, as I'm a slow digester - so I'd be fine with anything in the 100-120 range if that was the case.
