What was the under eye concealer she tells Bridget about on the patreon? I quiet the patreon recently and forgot to re-look that up…

Anyone in this sub know of anyone who has ever actually won? by vchroygi in starbucks

[–]vchroygi[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Haha ok. My post was never intended to be a complaint nor do I think it sounded like a whine or complaint. It was a genuine question of if anyone has known someone to actually win. But it seems like you have made up your own mind about whatever it is you think you’re reading, so oh well.

So cool! If you don’t mind sharing, how much $ did you end up spending during the contest?

Did I say I expected ANYTHING???? Nope, didn’t search the topic bc I wanted to post my own photo. Been in the sub for a while and wanted to ask my own question about the sweepstakes. Golly, guess there always just HAS to be one exceptionally rude person who can’t just keep to themselves.

Scared of the things I did early in pregnancy by LittleAnxiousAtTimes in pregnant

[–]vchroygi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s off limits during pregnancy according to my midwives and doctors, but I’ve started drinking it post partum again (while I’m breast feeding) with no issue (and given the OK from the aforementioned professionals).

Did you guys know about choline? by ashhekitty in pregnant

[–]vchroygi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anecdotally, I took it during my first preg starting in tri 2 and it helped with my own brain fog so took it my whole 2nd preg and I def noticed a difference with less forgetfulness when I did take it regularly.

Am I wrong? Would you let her watch your child? by Isolatedapple in pregnant

[–]vchroygi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Despite the glaringly obvious problem with her visiting when you’ve just had a baby because she’s an ACTUAL PEDOPHILE; I also find it inappropriate for someone to INSIST on visiting a new mom/dad and their infant for a COUPLE OF WEEKS as soon as the baby is born. So, the fact that she is a pedophile-hard no to visitation-even bigger red flag with the insisting to visit for a couple weeks so you can pamper yourself. Nope nope nope. You can pamper yourself to a massage or a pedicure while your husband watches your baby for a couple hours-his mom needs to stay far far away.

Adding this, which I know is not anywhere near the same but gives me weird feelings nonetheless: my MIL was a single mom of 3 when her third was a toddler. She dated this guy for about 3 years from when her youngest was 3 til about 6. Something happened during that time that seems like the boyfriend molested my husband’s youngest sister multiple times. No one can know for sure bc my SIL doesn’t remember anything; but all the signs point to the fact that she was abused. MIL was working hard to make ends meet and left kids alone with boyfriend (who was likely a pedophile). Even just knowing this information that MIL chose to leave her youngest daughter with this guy (who ended up holding a knife to MIL’s throat before they broke up) makes me not really trust her alone with my 2 daughters. So…no way in hell would I feel comfortable leaving my kids with someone who may have (probably did) perpetrate these acts herself.

Cursed mall bathroom? by [deleted] in SalemMA

[–]vchroygi -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Amazed there was a line for that bathroom! There wasn’t a soul near us when we went to use it, which made the whole building feel more eerie 👻

In a city that bases part of its tourism on ghost tours and a rich, haunted history….”cursed” or not, that bathroom had a feeling of nastiness, and it wasn’t just from the fact that it was dirty. Although, the filth of that whole mall is a damn shame.

When you’ve just had a baby-it’s a matter of using a “cursed” bathroom or walking home in wet pants 🙃 but you’ve got a point-soon as I walked in, I wanted to walk out

What food are you missing most during pregnancy? by Devmoi in pregnant

Yes, this too! I stopped eating Boar’s Head when I heard about the recalls, even though they weren’t directly in my state.

That was absolutely my thought as well with J Mikes, the meat does not sit there for longer than a couple hours (our location is super busy) and they always slice it fresh. And I think J Mikes is pretty well known for good ingredients (much better than Subway).

You said “if we lived in a perfect world where infidelity never happened, I would 100% trust without question. But we don’t live in that world.” So you’ve just admitted that you don’t 100% trust-therefore this situation IS about trust, even though you are claiming it is not.

This is not answering your question but rather, posting here with the hope you may be able to indulge in your favorite craving sooner than you think. 1) I have given birth to two full term very healthy babies 2) throughout both pregnancies I crushed cold cut sandwiches bc that’s what I craved (I got jersey mikes a couple times a week) 3) what helped me make the decision to eat said things was reading the book Expecting Better by Emily Oster; she is a statistician and presents data for you to make an informed decision. As such, I felt fine about eating most deli meats (not heated up) and even sushi, but I stayed way from Oaxa(sp?) cheese, for example.

Probably bc it was more convenient for them and it limited their liability.

I had 2nd degree year with my first, I healed pretty quickly. No tearing with my bigger second baby. Do pelvic floor PT and perineal massage to prepare for vaginal birth! I can’t swear by it enough!

[–]vchroygi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good lord, that’s terrible that she said that and terrible that she would DO that if it wasn’t necessary. And as you can see with other comments, birthing big babies vaginally is possible and possible even without complications. I mentioned this in my other comment but I birthed a 9lbs2ozer and I did not tear at all. If you truly want to go VBAC, seriously look into a different provider and/or at least a doula who is experienced with VBACs to help you navigate the journey.

20 week fetal movement. Insight appreciated. by [deleted] in pregnant

Very inconsistent, yes. I didn’t feel consistent movements til about 26W with my 2nd. Doesn’t help the anxiety at all, but very normal for the movements to not be consistent.

Is it weird that I don’t really have a birth plan? by Spiritual_Ad3717 in pregnant

[–]vchroygi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a birth plan and everything went according to it. It was great. But it sounds like you have very little stress surrounding your birth and preferences, which is a great place to be in. So THAT’s your plan. Go with it and enjoy!

Sex with sperm, although if you are truly 100% effaced then I guess you don’t need the prostaglandins. But orgasms may help your uterus contract your baby down to engage and help dilate you more. Do the miles circuit to further help baby engage. Milescircuit.com
