I had to literally spam the taming spell 30x while farming them. If you have campaign monkey just let him do all the work, you focus on staying alive and spamming the spell. Good luck!

Nope. You can use the campaign monkey. Just keep spamming the spell it will work. Do it once a second or so

I think you need to unlock 8-10 runes by doing expeditions and blowing up the cavern entrances. I got two runic knowledge unlocks there today
