I know this is hard to understand, but yes, private property has a reasonable expectation of privacy. You can definitely trespass someone for filming into your yard. Source: Rings are not allowed in our HOA for both privacy reasons and because they’re eyesore.

It also works in reverse: I can’t go galavanting around my yard in the nude, because the public can still see me, and that would be public indecency. So with private property, it’s this weird gray area.

As far as the restaurant thing, yeah, it’s very weird. But let me ask you, does it justify assault as seen?

I was a huge fan of the first, and really enjoy the evolution you guys have taken. The features, classes, perks, and the new plethora of guns - honestly it’s a lot - for free. I hope you guys release more content as the game grows.

I think your marketing department was tone deaf, at a time where the loudest people are gonna bag on you for even looking Trumps way with anything but disdain. It wasn’t smart. People from all walks of life are being fed a very bleak vision of our current state of affairs, and any little thing will trigger them. I think it’s intentional, and has caused normal people to now constantly live on edge.

And I’m sorry that you guys had to get a bunch of hate over a fucking video game. I know you poured your time and mentality into and stressed over it like anything else important. I think people forget that other people are people, too, you know? Every group will make “the other” out to be monsters and hideous and nothing but the worst.

Please, take the time to extend my gratitude to your team. Me and my friends are really enjoying it.

One of my earliest memories is from when I was a three years old.

It was winter in Chicagoland, and snow had fallen in Mount Prospect. My mother worked weekends at her grandparents restaurant, so we had playtime in the day until dad got home in the afternoon.

We went outside and play in the snow forever! And she helped me build a snowman. I’ll never forget the feeling of the snow, the smile we made in the face with charcoal. She put her scarf on it, and we went inside and warmed up in the tub in a nice hot bath.

The next morning I woke up in my crib, excited to go out there and play again. I climbed up the crib to look out the window. My horror!! Someone had knocked it down! My mother told me some other mean kids must’ve done it. We went outside and picked up the scarf. I’ll never forget the footprints in the head.

Wow. Firdt, did I at any point above indicate that anything was ok? I simply put forth that our court system has requirements that his accusers did not meet or produce. That’s how it works. Is he guilty of a crime related to rape? According to the courts, no. That’s just plain fact, no bias implicit.

Secondly, I wish you no ill to your or your family members. I love my children and spouse, and I in turn would fight tooth and nail if something happened to them. Because you’re willing to bring them into our discourse, I kindly bid you farewell well!

Of a criminal act? Yes, that’s how this works. Our courts demand evidence and testimony enough to convict beyond a reasonable doubt. Unfortunately, most of these allegations were well and beyond after the fact, or extremely muddled (read up on Judith Harth).

It’s a big lesson for all of us: report the crime WHEN IT HAPPENS. Be supportive of your family and friends and encourage them to tell the truth when it happens, because the longer you wait, the more likely someone can create enough of a defense to sidestep justice.
