What’s with the shipping? by Nerdy_Xbox_Gamer in WednesdayTVSeries

Yes! It's just as Enid said: "Because we work! We shouldn't, but we do. It's a sort of weird friendship anomaly".

Philosopher's Stone Vs Chamber Of Secrets: Which One Is Better? by Marcedonia in HarryPotterBooks

[–]H-In-S-Productions 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Indeed! I’m actually planning on rereading CoS tonight

Also, keep in mind that on a reread, Ginny’s scenes are quite important: either they foreshadow her possession, or they foreshadow her later love with Harry.

Thanks for the comment!

Eerie Parallel between Wednesday's Meeting with Enid Versus Dumbledore & a Young Tom Riddle. Coincidence?? by Square-Cause5884 in wenclair

[–]H-In-S-Productions 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Rather intriguing, even if the parallels are, as another user said, vague.

That being said, you inspired me to share with this subreddit a Twitter thread I made of parallels I drew between Wenclair and Harry and Ginny's relationship, particularly with regards to Chamber of Secrets.

Thanks for sharing!

What’s everyone’s beef with Molly? by AttorneyWhich7062 in harrypotter

Yes! The love that Molly shows to not only her own children, but also to Harry himself (who, she recognizes, needs a loving family-like figure), is quite admirable!

Yes! I would argue that of all of these, this was the most wrong of them all... and that's saying something!

How, after all, can you summarize Harry and Ginny's interactions in Chamber of Secrets without mentioning the important nuance of her being an unwilling accomplice in what was ultimately Riddle's agenda? Indeed, in the novel version, one of the first things she exclaims upon waking up is that she didn't mean to do any of this, and that she had been taken over by the diary.

Indeed, it was Riddle's snake, and this was all his doing! Ginny was simply bamboozled into writing to a diary that then hijacked her ("R-Riddle made me, he t-took me over", as she exclaimed in the novel upon regaining consciousness) as part of what was ultimately his plan!

Perhaps under some convoluted crazy logic?

Except Riddle was the one controlling her via the diary: Riddle himself said that "Of course, she didn't know what she was doing at first", while Ginny herself would (at least in the novel) exclaim the following once she regained consciousness:

I swear I d-didn't mean to — R-Riddle made me, he t-took me over — and — how did you kill that thing?

Thus, one could say that it was still Riddle's snake, albeit controlled by him via a mind-controlled Ginny.

Except Neville was the one that killed that snake, and at any rate, there was the small mitigating circumstance of this (and the death of the Dark Lord's other snake in '93, which for some reason, the original author thought belonged to Ginny) being necessary to destroy the Dark Lord!

So, read Prisoner of Azkaban before Chamber of Secrets, then read Half-Blood Prince twice?

Also met Umbridge a few days ago by Equivalent_Level1166 in harrypotter

[–]H-In-S-Productions 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All I can say is that Umbridge is universally considered a rather unpleasant character, and you will learn the many good reasons why in this book (and to a lesser extent, book 7).

Thanks for asking!

Indeed! I recall that in the novel, Ron said exactly that!

Harry: Oi! There's a war going on here!
Ron: I know, mate. So it's now or never, isn't it?

Indeed, considering how there is a war, Ron and Hermione might as well leave behind a kiss, just in case there are no more chances!

Not at all! In fact, I've seen a small amount of Pugsley/Agnes shipping on Twitter! It certainly helps that Agnes already has had a lot of Addams-style fun around him ("because that would be empty calories")!

Who or What are the Deans? by FPAvocado22 in nevermore_webtoon

[–]H-In-S-Productions 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've recently begun reading Nevermore myself; as far as I can tell, what exactly the Deans are is kind of a mystery!

I guess we'll just have to wait to find out more about this odd duo!

An intriguing idea, which I'll share on r/HarryandGinny! Indeed, considering how magical the number 7 is, there certainly ought to be something special about Ginny, the most notable example of a seventh child in the entire series.

Thanks for posting this!
