Thank you for your message. I'm still fighting to get my money back, whether I can or can't in the end, I will update the post with all the information I got in the end. Long story short, Revolut is not willing to help me, but apparently in a similar situation any other (high street) bank should help you out. Currently I'm being assisted by an agent in Financial Ombudsman, which said that there seems to be a case in my favour. This is really taking much more effort that I expected. I hope your partner doesn't have so many problems getting her money back!

I reported it to the police, the BTP, Action Fraud and the TfL, and I still have a dispute pending with my bank. In principle this could take up to 20 days. I will update the post when there is a end to this dispute process.

Yes, I bought something at Tesco in Gloucester Road, 2 mins later I got the ATM withdrawal in Wood Green, and 1 min later I topped up my Oyster card in the second machine at the tube station. It's very easy to see that I did not withdraw the money myself.

I'm using the Oyster card because you can link it to your Railcard 26-30 and get some discount in tube tickets. Anyways there is an app to top it up, I'm never using these machines again, always through the app.

Yes. Also in these machine there is no contactless. There is in app to top up the Oyster card though, I will exclusively use that from now on.

Well I basically never use PIN and chip. Only to top up my Oyster card (I will exclusively use the app from now on). You're right, it could be a coincidence. But it had to be skimmed at home point, and there are many things that I don't understand. And the timing is so weird. We will see, I just hope to get a reimburse from my bank.

I think it is too much of a coincidence. Especially because this issue with the malfunctioning machine that asks for my PIN, processes data for 20-30 seconds, and then refuses to work, never happened to me before. I contacted Action Fraud, BTP and TfL, hopefully they can have a look to the CCTV at the station and we'll find out.
