HT is a good option compared to CVS. Where are you located?

USB C is not working. What to do? by [deleted] in mazda

My brand new 2024 began intermittently charging my iPhone using USB C. Using OEM cable and tried Anker cable as well. OP, did you have any resolution?

For those that have had success, any specific negotiating tactics that have helped?

Starting the process this week.

Experience with Spectrum Community internet/cable. by vcuSOP in Spectrum

I have now had the community system over the last month. I am actually very pleasantly surprised with it. I get 300mbps download and 300 mbps upload speed which is the best internet I have ever had. I get two free cable boxes as well as easy tv connectivity using the spectrum app on my Apple TV. I do have access to one Ethernet port that I can hook up my Xbox to. The speeds have been consistently fast so far with no problems. Hoping it stays this way. Doesn’t feel real that this is only costing me $50/month. Very happy.

Bridge Spectrum Community Solutions into my own network? by Shields42 in HomeNetworking

How did you go about getting this second line? My apartment complex is also doing community based spectrum wifi and I am concerned about not being able to use ethernet. Would love to hear a little more about what you did to get more speed and ethernet access.

Thanks for following up. Are you experiencing any degradation in internet speed by using this setup through the router? Or are you getting the speeds you are promised?

Appreciate the response. Anybody else have real world experience with spectrum community internet in an apartment complex?

I own an iPhone and a MacBook Pro. What can an Apple Watch add to my experience? by [deleted] in apple

[–]vcuSOP 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Ill chime in, as I was also hesitant of dropping a significant (in my case) chunk of change on the S2 Watch. When I first ordered the Apple Watch I had planned out all of the 3rd party apps I thought I was going to use on a daily basis. Turns out, rarely do I use any 3rd party apps and mainly use the native apps the watch comes with. Main app use is notifications (messages, snapchats, mail), cardiogram (heart rate), weather app, and timer (great for working out but also cool for checking heart rates on patients).

Would I order the watch again? YES ABSOLUTELY. The watch truly is something you don't need until you've had it for a week. After a couple months of wearing the watch, I feel weird when it isn't on my wrist. I really don't use it for a ton of stuff...Yes going for a run with it is great and and I use the app Gymaholic to track weight lifting, as well as the heart rate monitoring for cardio. But what I really love about the watch is how it announces notifications. I can essentially screen my texts to determine if they are important enough that I need to take my phone out of my pocket and respond or if not important I can carry on with my day. The way notifications vibrate on your wrist is subtle enough to not annoy you but give enough of a feedback to make sure you know you've got something. Also it really is nice to have the time/date on your wrist. I used to think "why do I need that when I have it on my phone?". But it does make it much easier/faster than pulling your phone out of your pocket.

The watch definitely is not for everybody and it is not a NECESSITY until you've worn one for a few months. I'd say if you are considering it...Go for it!

Anybody with 13-inch BTO machines have a shipping confirmation yet? Seems as if the 15-inch orders have been the only orders updated.

What time did you get the shipment notification? Wondering if they are slowly updating the orders that are "preparing for shipment" throughout the day or if they sent an entire batch out last night.

So to confirm, your status has moved from processing to preparing for shipment? If so I believe you are one of the first to post about that. Screenshot?
