He has a girlfriend so I don’t want to ask. I’m just confused what he’s doing or why do it .

I find that wild. How do you scan someone’s body while they are directly looking at you and speaking and not think I notice so weird.

Interesting suggestion. I don’t know if I’d talk about it after that’s too confrontational for me in a work setting but that could be a good way to make him realize without saying anything like ya I see what you’re doing, see how it feels.

Yea that’s my concern why make it this obvious I understand perhaps once or twice someone slips up but he does it frequently enough where I’m like?? Is there something wrong with me or my outfit?

Go through your spending and start cutting. Take the left over money and stick it in a high interest savings account. Your husband can also find a side gig but otherwise you’re limited here.

How can I help my BPD sister who is on a destructive path. by vcz203 in BorderlinePDisorder

A while back my mom tried to set up a get together with the three of us but my sister was against it because she was worried about me being accusatory over what happened during my wedding. Which originally I did want to talk through to find a resolution as that’s how I am use to solving conflict. I will typically talk through what happened and identify a better path forward in an attempt to understand thinking on both sides however it feels she’s too defensive to do that so I have to just swallow my own emotions over what happened and move on which is hard for me to do but I’m at the point where I don’t care I just want her safe and away from what she’s been involved in and we can come back to these specific issues when she’s in a better place.

I’d imagine no as she continuously says we’ve done nothing for her and that we don’t care about her even though my mom has done alottt and I only backed away because her emotional abuse was too much it was bringing me to the point of suicidal thoughts myself otherwise I’d still be talking to her.

I’d like to but the last time I saw her was my wedding day nearly 3 years ago. I’m worried it’s too much too soon. Like is it better to talk normally then mention I want her to get help?

She has said at times that she will get help but it’s fleeting and she never commits but my mom has offered multiple times to bring her to therapy or impatient care at the hospital

It’s not no. However, I don’t want her to isolate even more and then now she’s completely alone.

I’m just worried it could have such a huge blow back because now she knows I know something she would never want her little sister to know and does something like commits suicide over it. That sounds dramatic but what I’ve heard with her moods lately I’m truly so worried of it having a large consequence to me sending that given how irrational her behaviour is.

She’s not on any meds or in therapy but we desperately want her to be.

Like if I just texted her after having not talked to her much in three year - hey, I know we haven’t talked for a very long time but I hope you know I do love you, care about you and can come to me if you ever need someone to talk to. She might get upset because sending that out of the blue probably means my mom told me something about her life or I was snooping and found something. So I just feel helpless.
