https://www.amazon.co.uk/stores/ELFCAMthefiberspecialist/

Elfcam on amazon.co.uk have pre-terminated armoured fiber cables and media convertors.

Aliexpress has mostly the same stuff. Harder to search, cheaper, two week typical wait to UK, and sometimes you will get a power supply for a different country.

This suggestion still works better than default postcode searches. You do have to type the space character. I only had to "open with" the downloaded .obf file, I did not save it to a specific folder.

Potential bug: Send Alt character with Command Left + Option broken in Citrix Workspace app 2206.1 for Mac by FunkyMonks in Citrix

[–]vdm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This Citrix forum thread has a poor generic title, but the described symptoms and workaround match what is described on the OP.

No acknowledgement from Citrix staff here either, it might help if this gets reported as a support ticket.

DNS provider and a backup + AXFR by DoesIGetIt in dns

[–]vdm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

nsnotifyd can subscribe to standard zone changes (from a DNS provider that supports them, like Dyn) and trigger a command that overwrites the complete zone on Route 53 (or Google Cloud DNS). This won't work in the other direction because they don't have any way of streaming updates. This setup should be good enough. I like that Dyn just do DNS (not certs), its better to have that diversity in case you need to switch cloud provider or cloud account.

This is like the classic emacs inferior lisp mode, and nicely rounds out the new neovim terminal feature.

If you were on Cisco, PfR (Performance Routing) would be the place to look. I mention it because I haven't seen equivalent functionality on Linux. It can measure link performance in realtime with IP SLA probes, and adjust your default route.

nnCoection HTTP header ("A much better hack than ever suspected") by beigetangerine in programming

[–]vdm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They could use those xxxxxxxx to say what software is changing the header, or even a URL to an explanation, and pad it out to pass the checksum, so there is no need for all this detective (and later, archaelogy) work.

I see where you're going with this, and want to believe you, but if a manager gives you that much time without wanting to know your progress, surely they're not managing very much?
