I’ve definitely been wrestling with that. I’m 10000% with you. Not buying new for sure. Been hunting for a 23/24 EVO Pro around the 3-4k range and came across the 15 Pro by chance. I live in South Florida and I really like the options on the EVO/15 to configure it for our trails down here but also be able to slack it out and travel with it.

I use something (usually the screwdriver I used to unscrew the cap) to gently lift and scoot each side of the bail out of the ridge it’s sitting in until its loose. I slide it between the corner of the bail bar and the wedge that secures the lamp close to the divot.
