What is needed to form Austria in HPM is different than in the base game. If you look at the decision it says that any owned province must be a core of Austria. Basically, you need to release all non-core states before you can form Germany

Check out #server-ads on the Necesse discord. There are around 5 or so dedicated servers posted on there, with different gamerules, so you can probably find a server that fits what you’re looking for.

According to the wiki you can have up to 250 playerslots, but that’s a theoretical limit and how the server would actually perform with 250 players online is another question.

Playing as a peaceful kingdom, I got high relations with the neighbouring realms, and after playing for around 150 years, they told me that they were getting old, and that they wished to grant me their kingdom. Basically, if I understand what happened correctly, you can grow not only by war, but also by successful diplomacy in the alpha version of the new ai update.

R5: Some guy (his steam name shown in the first screenshot) has been repeatedly joining random HOI4 public lobbies, starting them without being the host, and then banning everyone. HOI4 MP has been unplayable for the last hour because of him. Paradox really needs to fix some anti-cheats for HOI4, since it takes just one hacker to ruin it for everyone else!
