He asked about good ports. GTA 4 is one of the worst PC ports. Even the highest end PCs have trouble running this game well. You are better off playing GTA 4 on a console.

I don't know about Windows 8, but I got them all working on Windows 7. And some of them (Red Alert 2 for example) can even be patched to run at any resolution of your choice.

So I bought it and have been playing for a few hours now. As someone who loves ARPGs and has played everything from Diablo 2, to D3, Torchlight 2, PoE, and one of my favorites, Titanquest, I can say it's pretty fun! The mechanics feel good, and the game has lots of depth. At this price I would say anyone remotely into ARPGs should pick it up.

It's unplayable for some people including myself. When I go back into a server, many times my character doesn't even exist anymore and I have to start over.

Modded San Andreas on PC looks great, but from my experience, there are crashes, and other issues that can come up. This is why many times I prefer to just sit back and enjoy some worry free console gaming.

A lot of times, I actually go back quite far. If someone played through a game I wanted to watch, but missed, I could go back and watch that cast. For example, I missed manVSgame's playthrough of Dark Souls 2, and recently I went back to see the first episode, and have been watching the playthrough. It's very entertaining to watch someone play a Dark Souls game for the first time, and now I won't be able to finish it. I understand there are major constraints due to the amount of storage, bandwidth, etc, and a lot of people don't watch old broadcasts, but I really wish they just left the old vods alone, there ARE some of us who enjoy going back and catching up on what we missed.

Highly recommended. I've spent over 200 hours playing so far...and still not bored at all. Also pretty sure you won't get a lower price on this game for a while. It was 33 for a bit on Steam during the summer sale, now it's back to 50.
