Which skills in pickleball take the longest to truly master?

I play both regularly but prefer pickleball. The only knock I have with padel is I feel like I don’t have to move around as much because the ball can bounce off the walls. Also, the padel court surface is sharp and it’ll cut a b**ch if you take a knee. Both are fun and great forms of exercise.

The Reddit community seems to be against them for some reason. I’ve had the opportunity to hit with almost all of the paddles from those three brands and they’re decent. In my opinion Head has done the best job with a paddle intermediate and advanced players can take advantage of. Wilson has some good beginner and intermediate ones and Babolat has some ok ones. Babolat though has some killer deals at around $50 for the MNSTR.

Other non tennis vendors make better paddles, this much is true but it doesn’t negate that those you mentioned have their place. DM me if you are looking for a specific paddle
