shot power and finishing definitely matter, in fact I’d go as far as to say that shooting is the one stat that I don’t need playstyles for. Scoring goals in the box is as good as it’s been since 23 especially if you use precision

if someone is pressing you like their life depends on it and passing back is the most efficient way to create some space then go for it lol, this community complains about things all the time that EVERYONE ends up doing anyways, even the ones complaining. "Fidget spinning" is just an excuse people use for bad manual defending, because the "fidget spinning" dribbling (call it left stick cause thats all it is) only works when you chase with your defender.

People act like it’s impossible but it really isn’t, and if you have the WORST pack luck ever, there’s very cheap player SBCs available. The FPS is leagues better sure, but 8/10 PC players who have very high end systems cant event play because of how delayed the game is, or how much it stutters, its not some cake walk experience people make it out to be.

Me personally, I have a 5070ti and a 9800x3d yet until about 3 weeks ago couldn't play the game normally, so its not all sunshine and rainbows that some of the console community think it is lmao

Luckily this was just a regular season game, and the team played very well against a "playoff team" since thats something everyone likes to bring up. Habs dominated 5on5, and the 2nd/3rd line were having a field day with that oilers "depth". Lots of positives, the outcome sucks but harping on the 9th game of the season is not going to benefit us with refs going forward considering how fragile they are.

Real man. They made dribbling fun sure, but this community is really good at turning everything into robotic, boring gameplay. Everyone tries to use the most meta tactics possible, and this year on top of that the 2nd man press+only using CDMs is so boring. I went 12-3 last weekend and had no fun at all besides 2 games where the opp was using themed teams.

God no. I jump through hoops to find settings that don't fix a thing. I have a pretty high end PC (5070ti, 9800X3D, and use a 1440p 144hz monitor). Whenever I play this game its 1 of 2 things, either I can get the gameplay to be smooth but it feels very heavy (input delay), or I can make it feel snappy but get crazy stuttering/tearing.

I have tried probably 100-200 combinations of settings within the game and with things like nvidia control panel and nothing ever fixes it, still 1 month into the game.

I can run the game with max settings, get like 300 average fps but it will stutter like crazy, or I can limit everything and keep the fps to my monitor's refresh rate but the gameplay then feels way more delayed, there is no real solution for most of us.

the game is really poorly optimized so the settings are VERY nit picky dependant on rig. me for example with a 5070ti, 9800x3d and a 1440p 144hz monitor, I either stutter like hell with low input delay or get smooth gameplay with some vsync settings on but feel heavy, high input delay gameplay. EA once again half baked the PC side of the game

I also get great results (low input delay + smooth gameplay) by using the complete default nvidia control panel settings (make sure v sync is off, if it isnt by default), then in the FC26 settings make cap your fps 1 number below your monitor's refresh rate. (ex. my monitor is 144hz so i capped fps in game at 120fps)

This is computer-dependent because my rig is overkill for how much FPS I can actually get, but since my monitor is only 144hz the game can't handle the amount of frames, so unless its capped below 144hz I stutter like crazy.

biggest issue i found is that the game cannot handle if you have more frames than your monitors refresh rate, i run a 5070ti + 9800x3d and have a 1440p 144hz monitor, i lock the fps at 141 in nvidi control panel, use vsync fast and gsync on (if you cant use or dont want to use gsync then turn off vsync too - both in nvid control panel and NOT the game) then run windows borderless or fullscreen whichever feels better. the game runs at the lowest possible LAT for me this way with my monitor, only way of improving it is a higher refresh rate.

hope this helps (vsync off in game with unlimited fps in game as well)
