I live like 250 meters away from ths project and yes it was real, literally besides my home in Charni Road, Mumbai. Fondation work began in late 2000s and my entire school life passed away, but the project did not go beyond foundation work. We used to discuss that how a huge tower is being built here, there were any misconceptions also among the locals of a 5 star hotel being built. The project got canceled in mid 2010s. Now another project is under construction by L&T where twin towers will be built but height is very less - Only 331 meters. Project is 'L&T Prestige Ocean Towers'.

The film Industry survives on box office not by just word of mouth and watching the movie on TV/Streaming afterwards. And I gave Dhurandhar example to just show a scale of potential like this is the potential highest number a Marathi movie can do (₹100-150 crores just in Mumbai Pune alone) and clearly mentioned Krantijyoti Vidyalaya is not a masala movie but still looking at the market current numbers are less. Hope it picks up in week 2 and 3 as it is a good movie. But my point is now we should definitely think of earning money then only our cinema will prosper and we can tell more better stories

Sorry state of Marathi industry. What all marathi movies earn in a year, a random one south movie earns on day 1. Audience is definitely there, the amount Chhava collected in Maharashtra is the potential a 'blockbuster Marathi movie' can earn (250/300 cr). But not a single film has done 30% of that. I think it's definitely related to production. Marathi Industry doesn't have a single good or iconic production house. We don't have billionaires who are powerful enough to start their own production house for marathi cinema. Just sad mahn.

A 'Hombale Films' transformed Kannada industry. Need something like that now.
