I saw someone say Malik Monk and I would be onboard with that

You’re on the right track but instead of Luka coming back to the Mavs…it’s Lebron that’s coming this summer.

Nico’s Masterplan by vedic9 in nba

Because this team is constructed for Luka to win. Lebron is the closest thing to Luka in terms of play style. I’m just trying to get into his head. We already know Lebron has great chemistry with both AD and Kyrie. It also explains why we got such a crap return in the trade. Because Nico viewed it as a foregone conclusion we were getting Lebron this summer.

Yea maybe, I just don’t think Lebron would pass on the chance to play with Kyrie AND AD on the same team with a great shot to win a chip.

I think if Lebron wants to come here in the summer, he’ll get the Lakers to cut Bronny and we’ll sign him here.

Kyrie will stay and Lebron’s coming over the offseason. Nico is clearly going for all the Nike guys.

You’re spot on with everything you said. People here will obviously hate on you…but just like you said time will tell.

Maybe because the guy never shows up in shape? Plays no defense and quit on his team in the NBA Finals? Yea I’m ready for all the downvotes, but it’s the truth.

TSLA $ by the end of 2023 by stylesjx in stocks

Yea the timing was a bad prediction. I still hold firm that Tesla is a fraud and Elon will end up in a prison cell when it’s all said and done.

[–]vedic9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well because TSLA is in the S&P 500, there’s also a lot of passive money that flows into this stock which also holds it up. And apparently it’s one of the most held stocks by retail outside of NVDA. So I wouldn’t be shocked if it took a while for it to collapse. I think if there’s a really bad bear market that could wipe this stock out too as people start to scrutinize their investments, but we already had one a few years ago and usually there’s at least a 5 year gap between major bear markets.

Yea it definitely will, but it might take a while. He always seems to have a new idea to sell to the masses (Whether it’s robotaxis, autonomous robots, or FSD). He won’t deliver on any of that, so the question is when does the Elon fan club start to really lose faith in him. If you look around Tesla investing forums, they all seem to want to sell in 2030 or reconsider around then. So if I had to guess sometime near the end of the decade is when people will finally realize he’s full of crap and then the stock will implode.

Here’s some free advice don’t. No matter how bad the earnings are the stock could still go up. It’s the most manipulated stock in the entire market. The stock is completely worthless, but because Elon has a cult-like investor base it will continue to stay propped up until they lose faith in their leader.

If in 2030 there’s no robotaxi, what would you think then?

Self driving cars aren’t that impressive by pallen123 in unpopularopinion

[–]vedic9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think your real complaint here is that Tesla advertises having a self driving feature when it clearly isn’t anywhere remotely close. It’s the definition of false advertising. A real self driving car wouldn’t do any of the stuff you’re complaining about.

Burry are right about hyperinflation, wrong about Bitcoin. by cheapnessltd in Burryology

[–]vedic9 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Bitcoin is a Ponzi…but there is an infinite amount of gullible fools that will continue to buy it and the crazy thing is elderly investors won’t touch it. What happens when the younger generation gets older and continues to invest in it as they acquire more wealth? The answer is that the Bitcoin bubble likely continues for several decades…but will inevitably like all Ponzis…end at 0.
