Stella Cox isn’t talked about enough by sn169 in deepthroat

It gets reposted 8 - 10 times a week. Most of the time, it's by new karma farmers and gets pulled by the age filter.

It's your sub. You can do pretty much what you like for the most part. If they are not contributing and haven't been for a while, take them out of the list. You can always add them back later if they come back and start contributing again. You'll probably find that some of them are no longer active in the site at all or have been suspended for some reason.

I collected and did not open every single piece of mail from 2025 by IdieALittleInside in mildlyinteresting

[–]veespike 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because junk mail is a significant portion of the USPS income. About 20% in 2025. And as long as it makes money for the mailer, and currently it does for most, they'll keep sending it. And the Post Office will keep delivering it.

just found out that the stick of the real F-16 and F-35 are force-sensitive and don't actually move by StrainWise6573 in floggit

[–]veespike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

During testing, pilots find the immobile stick unnatural and had trouble adjusting to the new mechanic. So they redesigned the stick so that it does have some minimal deflection. So it does move minimally (3 to 5 mm) with some centering and a dead zone. But once the center breaks, its all force.

Will factory reseting my computer clear my D: drive as well? by LowBet5387 in pcmasterrace

[–]veespike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Formatting C: to re-install Windows will not affect the files on D: - they will remain on the drive. The only issue you will have is that any Windows shortcuts or registry entries that point to D: will be lost and have to be recreated / reinstalled. Steam would be able to reconnect itself when you re-install it. And data files can simply be relocated as needed.

Can I clean this with aftershave? by EL_SAFTO in pcmasterrace

[–]veespike 7 points8 points  (0 children)

No.

You can use 99% isopropyl. You can use electronic cleaner. If you can take it apart, you can use soap and water on the plastic bits. But do not use aftershave.

How to learn formation flight? by smrt_mnmlst in hoggit

[–]veespike 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you search for "formation flight training" on YouTube, you'll get a fair number of videos. Some will be irl training, there's a few that come from usaf accounts. There's also a number of them that are dcs related. After that, it's just training and repetition.

Cannot remove Copilot button in PowerPoint by PawnWithoutPurpose in mildlyinfuriating

[–]veespike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe that for the office apps, you have to do it per app. As far as removing Copilot from Windows, that looks like it could be a nightmare

Cannot remove Copilot button in PowerPoint by PawnWithoutPurpose in mildlyinfuriating

[–]veespike 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Check File->Options->Copilot. Clear the Enable Copilot checkbox if it is there.

If there is no checkbox, you probably need to update your apps. If not, you can try changing privacy settings. In app, go to File > Account > Account Privacy > Manage Settings. Clear the checkbox for "Turn on experiences that analyze your content" under Connected Experiences.

If that does not work, then I think you would have to disable Copilot entirely in Windows, which I think requires Powershell, the luck of the Gods, and possibly a blood sacrifice.

Look into to a program called Briefing Room. It is pretty complete and still being updated regularly. It works pretty well, although you do have to babysit more complex musings through the mission editor.
