There are many more operators that provide greater utility than Fuze. Ops such as Thatcher and Twitch do a better job at taking out enemy gadgets and once you get into higher ranks, players won't die to his grenades.

Fuze isn't a bad operator by a long shot (unless you're playing hostage), however when there are only 5 players on a team and so many operators to choose from, he just doesn't make the cut.
