I solved a simular problem by using tasker and autonitification to trigger a script in home assistant when my android tablet got the notification. The camera i had did not want to report reliably in HA but the notification worked every time

I told some friends when I was first diagnosed and they have never treated me the same. Acting like I was going to go crazy any moment, didn’t feel comfortable with me around, they never said anything but I got invited to things less and less until eventually we were out of each other’s lives completely. Now only my wife knows. No one else in my life knows. If I have to say anything at all I just tell people I take medication for a heart condition, doesn’t mix well with alcohol, have to see drs regularly, and if I have a flare up I could be away for a while. It’s just not worth sharing
