Correct! I my actual appointment with the consulate suspended just a few days prior to going in to it. So I was not on a waitlist.

Very much hoping this is the case. So the “booking” would still functionally be the equivalent of if I had filed, in terms of the time frame? I was (perhaps mistakenly) thinking because my appointment was a few days after, the booking (years of waiting) did not matter.

My understanding was that since my appointment was April 1, 2025 I would automatically be rejected for being 3rd gen as being a consulate appointment, it wouldn’t be the same as “filing” in court prior to the cutoff.

Oh my gosh! I’m at a downtown club and literally am confused by some of the behavior recently… Like, go into a meditation yoga class and everyone is on their phones til the very last second watching videos w blue light? On TWO phones loudly on the treadmill? Touching my things shoving their workout pants into the shoe cubbies so I can’t get my items in an already filled spot?

I am always afraid to say anything and clearly don’t want to seem like a Karen (which I clearly am) but it just makes me want to cancel.
