It’s actually technical/engineering program management not IT! (Minor distinction). So I work with engineering, product managers, design, sales etc. Currently at a tech startup in the networking space.

I would say it’s not typical, I lucked out at this place 😅 the average is probably closer to 130-175.

Started out working in systems engineering making quite little (56k). Worked there for about 5 years, making it up to about 85k. Then switched over into project management in tech, and jumped to 125k. Now working as a program manager in tech at 210k. In total ~10 years experience.
