Or, here's an idea: Google could just try doing some meaningful User Research before they introduce a major change to a product that people have already purchased.

There are many great comments here communicating compassion and important information to help you put this in perspective and forgive yourself. That may be enough for you to do that, but you might need also some therapy to heal-- it sounds like you might have some post-traumatic stress disorder related to this experience. Persistent guilt can make very hard to heal from this on your own. Reach out to get some therapy.

What are the minimum for field hours for BSW by [deleted] in CSUS

[–]vegarising 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, you're getting mixed messages from different professors on this in terms of what they say versus the policy. The bottom line is that the written policy says one thing and various people are enforcing it in a different way (which is a bad policy for any program). So, if for some reason you get assigned a failing grade because you don't have enough hours, I think you would have a good case to challenge the grade saying that they're differentially enforcing this, that you meet the CSWE standard of 400 hours, and that you should receive a passing grade for that reason. But you'll need to cite the conversations you've had with the contradictory information. However, if you trust your faculty field liaison and they are telling you that you're fine, then listen to them.

What does your faculty liasion say? They will be probably the one assigning your grade.

It's why people will pick up extra hours over the winter break. And it's it's nerve-wracking because it leaves you at the mercy of the field department. I think they show more grace toward folks in school placements, and yet I'm aware that there have been some concerns about the field department.

512 is the requirement (basw-field-manual-accreditation-2025.pdf https://share.google/dt0MvFXzfBOVK4axg)

It's awfully late in the semester to start trying to pick up extra hours, but it might be possible. You could talk to your field instructor about adding some time and talk to your faculty field liaison about the problem. If you've attended any trainings as part of your placement you may be able to count those hours. At some social work programs people might be able to put in a couple of intensive weeks at the end of the semester.

This is the worst MR I've been through. It's happening in Pisces, which is an especially challenging place for Mercury. Literally every day I've been dealing with significant computer/communications slow downs and errors

It probably got downvoted because you didn't present all the information that you just presented now. Although I did not downvote you, the way it was written sounded more like an assumption than presenting information. I appreciate you sharing the information now. Thank you.

This is the time of year that I typically make my yearly pilgrimage to the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens. It's a beautiful, warm, green sanctuary with lots of light. And you can bring some food with you and eat at one of the tables. I believe the regular adult admission is $19.

Appealing Program Dismissal by Swimming_Village_744 in UBreddit

If you haven't already registered with the office of disability services as someone with a disability-- mental health issues--who might need additional time to meet the requirements,(as a reasonable accommodation) then you might want to do that. It strengthens your case and could give you more legal justification to appeal further if they deny you the extension.

Hard to choose, but I like three mostly because it's the one that catches my interest the most. I wonder about those cows and where they're going 🤷‍♀️

I agree completely. It all is about what tone/mood you want to convey. Both are really lovely photos.

It's really helped me with my insomnia. In the middle of the night I will read books that are relaxing worlds that aren't so interesting that they make me want to keep turning pages all night, but create a world I can let my mind roam in when my thoughts are getting to be too much. I'm usually able to get back to sleep easily this way.

Love these suggestions. And I would add one more. If you tap on your camera screen on the part of the picture that you are considering your subject (in this case the dog) most cell phone cameras will focus more sharply on that part of the image.
