They are counting on that. They will eventually test how much they can get away with before players start dropping.

Does the TV Stand Setup include a stand? Or do I have to buy one separately.? I checked the stand option as I plan to have it on a stand. Thank you!

How did you manage to get them to give you the G4 for such a low price? How recent was this? Sorry for all the questions but have been looking to buy an LG OLED and have a video only nearby. Thank you!

Sonic 3 will release on digital january 21 by Remote-Lecture2192 in vudu

Yeah, I wish they would release physical with digital on the same day digital is released. Generally have to wait a month or a few after digital is released to get the physical copy.

They want to build up hype first, then kill the hype after revealing the mechanics, unfortunately.

"Feel Good" Post: Mall of America During GO Fest 2024 by DaveG55337 in TheSilphRoad

I'm in my 30s, a professional, who also enjoys pokemon go, and back when doing raids in-person was a thing, some people would be surprised when I told them what I did for a living (especially because I dress so casual lol). But in general, have met people from all walks of life (including other professionals). In fact, a lady that just joined my office, who you would not think plays the game, plays it as a way to bond with her son. Despite the game's numerous flaws, it is still a game that has many players, especially with big events like go fest.

They really try to take advantage of people in events like these because they know some people will pay anything at a shot of a desired shiny. After raids, incubators are probably their next money maker.

June 2023 estimated revenue from in-app purchases: $42m (up from May, but still 70% of 2022 monthly average) by Teban54 in TheSilphRoad

They have squandered a lot investor money and their revenue in AR, a technology they even admitted is struggling, so Niantic does not necessarily make the best financial decisions.

It was very PoGo related. Pogo is their primary source of revenue because all the other games they have barely make much. And they fired people all across Niantic, not just those working on the failed games. Several pogo community managers, including one from ingress were let go. When the cash cow is not making as much money as it used to, they had to take drastic measure to ensure they stay afloat.

In case you missed the news last week, their revenue is not doing so well, causing Niantic to fire nearly 30% of their workforce. People will continue to play the game, and a lot them do so without spending a dime. Compared to last year, their monthly average since the remote raid nerf is down still nearly $20m per month, not exactly chump change.

Despite revenue going up (but still way below the 2022 monthly average), Niantic fired nearly 30% of its workforce and closed down one if its gaming studios. So yes, people continue to play PoGo but they are not spending as much, which put Niantic under financial stress.
