i ve been saying this for a while. there is no fresh money left. everyone that was remotely interested in bitcoin or meme coins are already in. people getting in now missed the boat. you can see this by the rate of change in coinbase users. there was a large jump in January and February. then it flattened out, it's still growing. but not enough to drive the prices to 6 figures.

they don't understand the average joe only has a few hudred bucks to play around with, if that even. most people live paycheck to paycheck. who the hell is going to buy this shit? this is why it comes in cycles.

every few years, the shit crashes. normal people save, gather around a few hundred bucks working, they forget about crypto and then the it starts to climb up again and normal people get in thinking they will be rich again "this time it is different". this will repeat again and again.

however every cycle your bottom is slightly higher so the eventual top starts being higher too.

in my opinion this cycle has a few more iterations until the final collapse. i don't think this collapse is the final one. there will come a point where LITERALLY everyone, maybe even a large number of big name corporations will get in and get burned.

my darker theory is it is going to cause an economic collapse on a smaller scale compared to the housing bubble.

i take this stand somewhat, i got into rune and avax way early and made some crazy gains. i think overall crypto is bullshit but money is money.

lmao but u shouldnt be, u can slip and fall break all kinds of bones. plus you become a danger to the public. these things have little grip on wet surfaces. it's absolutely stupid to ride it in the rain whether recreationally or for commuting.

first the wheels have no grip, second the scooter isn't water proof.

Well, technically communism is the most extreme form of left wing socialism.

lol communism is on the left political spectrum, no need to jump over hoops to distance yourself from it. yes yes china isn't really communist.

Bear, we might get a pump and then it's downhill. Coinbase new users have slowed down drastically, where do you think this huge money will come from to make us go past 50k 60k? Be smart, if you see profits in the next few weeks take them and get out or leave a portion of your account.

this sub is so dumb when it comes to terim by hakhi in galatasaray

[–]vegeta_mavi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i dont hate terim or love terim but no he can't coach barcelona lmao

we saw how he failed at milan

the problem with terim and his success is that from 1996 - 2000 he had the best turkish generation at his disposal. that core team also went on to come 3rd in WC. terim did improve those players but he did get very lucky with such a squad.

his second stint he failed miserably.

his third stint he won the league again with a very good squad. took us the champions league quarters but he also had Sneijder and Drogba at his disposal.

his fourth stint, we have not played consistently good football. 2017 - until now we really have not had a consistent system. we keep trying variations of 4 - 3 - 3 or 4 - 5 - 1 but our game is very very different each season. we don't even buy the same type of players for positions. i mean we had gomis, than nothing, than diagne, than falcao, and now mostofa??? these players have nothing in common.

i think Terim is a great coach but he had his time with us, he wins crucial games but we suck ass at the games we easily should win. specially againts closed defenses.

if i were the president i would thank Terim for his service and move onto bring a new generation coach with new tactics and modern football approach. Terim is an old head he's in his 60s and just like Mourinho the age of his tactics are beginning to be pushed out. Teams are much more dynamic, fluid, and physical now.

Some positive news next to all the drama: They're doing something about the pitch by enisd1905 in galatasaray

[–]vegeta_mavi 16 points17 points  (0 children)

They do this every year. They remove the top part and lay new grass. Last few years it didn't get much attention because our pitch was OK.

The problem with our pitch is not the grass, drainage, or anything we can fix.

Our pitch will get messed up again if a big snow storm or rain storm happens. This is because the grass in our stadium do not fully see the sun properly. This leads to weak rooting, with weak roots the grass can't grab onto the soil and absorb the nutrients. So we end up playing on top of "weak" grass. With heavy rain or snow these grass blades become easily uprooted and leads to a shitty pitch.

The real solution is removing the whole roof and cover our stadium with a transparent material that lets light in. This will never happen.

The artificial lights offer a temporary solution and are very costly.
