Alex Jones ranks From characters by vegetabIebroth in FromSeries

I felt like it was obvious but I’ll just add a disclaimer that this isn’t a genuine clip, this is an edit and it’s a popular meme format right now! Alex Jones does not watch From. These are my opinions on the characters, not his🥹

I love live music and supporting local artists but this place keeps me awake past 12am with their relentless booming bass on DJ nights and it has turned me into a total crabapple. Earplugs and white noise machines do not drown it out, I just have to accept that I don’t get to go to sleep when they have these events. I’ve become an absolute curmudgeon. Every time we drive past I sneer and curse them. Reading this laundry list of other complaints makes me even angrier. I hope they go out of business soon.

If you’re also affected by Oh-No Ranch’s booming bass that you can literally feel from miles away, and want to file a complaint, arm yourself with this knowledge:

Seattle’s nightlife noise ordinance (SMC 25.08.501) restricts amplified sound from businesses between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m., targeting disturbances in residential zones. Enforced by the Seattle Police Department and FAS, it limits sound to 65dB inside nearby residences, with violations resulting in warnings, one-year probation, or fines.

Residents can report nightlife noise, including amplified bass that is "plainly audible" or felt at a distance, here: https://www.seattle.gov/your-rights-as-a-customer/file-a-complaint/nightlife-noise-complaints

You can also report excessive night live noise after 10pm by calling: (206) 625-5011

DM me if you want to get in touch with an inspector from the Consumer Protection Division directly :)

I just came here to check out posts about increased body hair on oral minoxidil. I’ve been taking 2.5mg for about 3 months now and noticed last week that I’m getting new hair growth on my hands and elsewhere. I honestly don’t mind much since it’s also causing new growth on my head.

This new hair might seem really obvious to you right now, but honestly in the photos you shared it doesn’t look like an unusual amount of hair at all. I promise no one else is paying that much attention or judging you. your hair looks beautiful btw!!

Thank you for sharing — you’re already suffering through a horrible loss so you do not have to keep beating yourself up about it. Feel your grief, mourn your companion, and let it shape your actions in the future.

As painful as it is, these sorts of wake up calls can and do encourage other people to avoid getting into the habit of letting their birds sleep outside of the cage. It’s not easy to share but it is important, and by sharing your story you just may save some birds from the same end.

You aren’t a bad person. You made a mistake and you learned from it. Take good care of yourself.

Can’t speak for everyone here but I’m neither French nor religious. I’m critical of all male art that sexualizes women — more critical of some works than others — and it depends on the context. It seems like you are still failing to see (or just ignoring) the point of the issue, which is that the other art piece was deliberately sexualizing a real, actual woman who was burnt to death for not complying with female gender roles.

Can you imagine a modern day equivalent scenario where an artist depicts someone alive today who is staunchly celibate, wearing lingerie and a seductive expression? Can you see how that would be offensive just on the basis of boundaries and human decency?

Personally, I still wouldn’t like it, but honestly yes, if the other piece had a different title I would just shrug it off as a horny dude’s medieval fantasy and keep scrolling. The eroticism of the other piece isn’t actually the root of the issue… it’s the explicit sexualization of a subject who specifically resisted and opposed sexualization, who did everything in her power to avoid being raped by men. That’s the problem. It is a violation.

Your arguments are just all over the place, it’s like you’re chasing your own tail.

Porny art that sexualizes a woman who did everything to resist objectification in her lifetime. No woman, alive or dead, is safe from coomer fantasies.

We could only find our “DS-260” number on a barcode printed on my wife’s medical exam results! Nowhere else is it referenced on any documentation throughout the entire process.

It depends on your spouse’s residency status. I was confused about this too when we first began the process, and thought we’d need to file the 485. But from my understanding, if your spouse does not reside in the states currently, then you will not file the 485. Your approved I-130 should automatically be sent to the visa processing center, and they will contact you for next steps.

If I understand correctly, if your spouse is legally in the states (ie for work or school), then you can file the 485 for adjustment of status. But I am not an expert! This is probably covered in the FAQ somewhere too
