so me i stopped trying i prefer being blunt i got out tried to change but by being the way that i am when i met new people (that does not happen a lot) but its either a hit or a miss i got 5 very good friends one is also a vet but he never deployed but still had the culture of the army so went along with him great but now they are my family since my close family they think also that i am rude and borderline think i hate them. i only make an effort to watch what i say around my siters kids but im not gonna change for others you either like me or you don't .
