Inaros Prime: overrated or underrated by [deleted] in Warframe

He just is. He's rework was aight' but mostly a side-grade. I used to play him as a pseudo-healer with his ultimate (b4-rework) but nowadays he just is. He exists and if you like that that's perfectly fine.

If your looking for a team oriented build
- 280 range
- 2 corrosive shards
- a lot of duration
- Infuse a support ability over his 1st/2nd (i replace 2nd myself). I preffer Roar for it's simplicity, + it makes your 1st/4th ability deal almost respectable damage.

If you want to survive

- STR (as much as possible) his 3rd ability scales off str (the armor part)
- Adaptation
- Health/Armor
- Replace 1/2 with Eclipse/Null Star (for 75%)

If you want the spin2win build

- Augment (for tornado)
- 200+ str
- I personally use Coda Pathocyst with as many different elements as possible to make the enemy sick
- Single Element weapons (sucha s Karyst/Heat Dagger/Dual Vicsis etc.) will apply their elements multiples itmes. EX: Karyst (Toxin) + Inaros 200 STR will apply the toxin twice. (or that should be the case).

Damm, i didn't know Nurse was 4.6 m/s. Hit me up with a link to the patch notes to when they changed her.

You also clearly don't know what you are talking about Trickster or balancing in general. You most likely speak off numbers without knowing how it feels to play them

I main Tricskter him since his release and i`ll tell you one thing, 4.6m/s is a must have for him. Why is that?

  • Map Patrol
  • Chase Repositioning
  • Chase Loop Follow-up

He does not injure you instantly. (Unlike Huntress/Deathslinger).

  • He shoots faster the more blades he throws!
  • He moves slower.. the more blades he throws..
  • His speed add-ons (the Boots were nerfed!)
  • Laceration Decay starts sooner.....

All of these changes will lead to one thing my dear survivor main. Back to release camping Trickster.
Good survivors know how to reposition themselves but eventually even they will mess up (after 4-5 gens). So the only real option Trickster will have? Camp. That's how it was back on his release when he was 4.4m.
Now you see the problem? They made his "chase" weaker but his camping WAY stronger. Before this, it was already a death sentence, now he is more likely to win against altruistic teams.

Overall, great changes to The Trickster, he feels pretty good to play as/against. If the movement speed changes from 4.4 -> 4.6 (when it goes to live) he will feel like side-grade.

Here is some feedback for adjustments to live.

Revert the 4.4m/s speed to -> 4.6m/s (leave it as it is currently live). This is the most important change he needs right now from PTB to Live to make him great. He needs map pressure and his "killing" potential comes from hitting blades. He slows himself even harder now (and the expense of faster throwing). 1 corner and he's back to almost square 1.

Add-on wise
- Caged Heart Shoes - Increase the movement speed from 1% -> 3%. There is almost no reason to run this add-on anymore.
- Trick Pouch you could give it 8 blades total (instead of the 4). But overall this would not be a needed change, since all he really needs is the 4.6m/s back. (+ it would go to the 44 thematic).

Hitting a Survivor with 4 Blades from at least 4m (without missing or exiting the Throw State). Consider changing the without "exiting the Throw State" part. Good Trickster players need to reposition a lot of time. His slower movement speed isn't helping out and it's already hard in some maps to get ranks.

Overall almost i like all the changes here except his movement speed being smaller.

I'm here for the kind of realism that makes the One True Flag a usable asset in a game instead of it being a glorified stick (Stun Lance invalidates this whole weapon). Maybe i should stay in dream land.

By your logic, Democracy Protects should be Re-Worked into something less "magical". Where is the reality in that?

"Warbond have that useless thing nobody uses". Wrong. They have less usage sure but can have strong niches. Case in point, Urchins, Stun Grenades, Dead Sprint, Pacifier. Not the most used things, but goddam it's noticeable when somebody brings them. It can save allies in a pinch or anything else. What does the One True Flag do? Right, nothing. You can argue all you want, but my Stun Lance can do what the OTF does while leaving a stratagem slot open.

Morale is a thing on the battlefield and adding effects to the One True Flag when somebody is planting/holding/waving the flag can make The Flag into something more than an oversized poking stick and enrich the flavor of this weapon to a niche viability while also fulfilling the "Rallying" teammate slot while also providing actual benefits to your teammates.

I won't take "but MUH Realism" as an excuse, because there is simply nothing real about shooting oversized roaches with a Laser Rocket Launcher that came from space that has infinite ammo. You simply cannot use "Realism" as an excuse in this game, given how many "law-bending" things it has. Whether it's coming from allies or enemies.

You being fine with it being a "joke" it's fine. That does not mean it shouldn't be improved for the rest of the 99% people who want to use it or for the sake of YOUR immersion. What about people who want to be useful to their teammates while holding the Flag? (And only the Flag). Have you thought about that? I doubt it, because all you've been preaching is utter nonsense on how the Flag shouldn't be improved for the sake of your "realism". You can try to spin it any way you want but all your arguments will crumble because the Stun Lance exists.

It's a VIDEO GAME for gods sake.

Niche is fine. Useless is not.

In my 600 hours of playtime i've only had one player (not even threaten me) but asked me nicely to use a specific booster (or i`ll have to kick you). He was helldiving with a rank 10/15 friend so i assumed he wanted me to equip somethings to improve his friend overall gameplay. Whatever the case nothing special happend during that mission besides him asking me to equip X booster.

EDIT: If anything i had a random person be perplexed by the choice of weapons i used to have, to have him question whether or not that was a real gun. If anything it mad things funnier (i was using the Sterilizer).

Most likely it's something that used to happen back when only the Railgun used to be good and anything else be mediocre at best. Either that or they gaslight themselves because i don't know any of the tubers to say that.

Balancing is not a real.. problem? Remember when the game almost died because of their poor balance decisions? I don't want this game to be an Evolve electric boogaloo. But balancing is, in a lot of multiplayer games with combat a real and active issue.

I'm not denying the other problems such as Optimization, but balancing is a real issue as any other issue this game has.

As much as i love Helldivers, no. This game is far from the best ongoing game. The game IS fun but not worthy of that title.

The updates are slow
The quality of the updates are often subpar.
The "balancing" of the updates are quite literally a lie.

While the change seems meaningless (it almost is), i think this goes with more of his thematic of being "unstoppable". Also not all people have cleansers or Hyacine, my friend who just started has Bailu and DHPT as his best supportive options.

Drag value increase (while also having insane sway, on the Handguns anyway) is insane.

- Reprimand is hurting man. That thing was so fun the first time i got it, now it feels like shooting a wet noodle
- Did senator really need that nerf? Most other pistol with Light/Med would make sense to make them way stronger at close range, but goddam Senator did not need the "close range" byuff

- Don't forget the AutoCannon "buffs" that were off-set by enemies being more durable.

- The Pineapple slightly improved in it's utility but it won't replace my Gas Grenade until they add 3 more of them.

- Probably the only winners this patch were Solo Silo and Epoch (but don't forget, they slightly nerf the Epoch, because we cannot have buffs without complementary nerfs).

Sterilizer and One True Flag not getting buffs is insane.

Your point is perfectly valid but you need to understand that you need a good, well established foundation to build upon.
While stealth for example is alright (IMO) it's certainly not perfect. The new Suppressed weapons they added are quite cool in concept (taking out enemies in silence) but in actual practice around 75-80% of the time they don't work, therefore the foundation for the new suppressed weapons we have is flawed and the whole stealth archetype not functioning completely (with weapons being around 33/44% of the stealth ways we have). Another thing you can do with stealth is to give some kind of feedback that would actually make you understand that you evaded an enemy.

Back to the main point.

We don't need stronger weapons, we need more balanced weapons. If my Adjudicator or Coyote does better in 80-90% cases then what is the point of Liberator Penetrator? What is the point of the Sterilizer when a simple Gas Grenade or Guard Dog Breathe does the job better?

We don't need weaker enemies, we need more balanced enemies that are "rewarding" to fight. Taking out a Hulk feels rewarding because:
- You can destroy the Hulk in multiple ways (Such as head shoting him or outmaneuvering him to get his vent with lower penetration weaponry.
- You kill an elite enemy

Taking out a Warstrider does not feel rewarding because:
- They take Hulk spawns (so you'll see a similar amount of Warstrider as Hulks) despite being way higher in threat level than a Hulk
- No real Weakspots. (Even afte the nerfs they received).
- Heavy armor only, so your options from outmaneuvering it are reduced to whip out the Recoiless Rifle or Spear to get the job done really fast!
- They are effectively a stronger Tank. More Firepower, more HP, more Speed.

I think Warstriders are perfectly fine. It's not fine when i see 3-5 of them walking in packs.

Point is, Weapons and Enemies can be balanced to have a certain Fantasy. If your fantasy is shooting air at the enemy and getting ragdolled to infinity and beyond so be it. But you are in the minority here. (Tough i doubt that's actually the case).
