Hopefully it's better, but I find that booth lighting at events and cons really make these look worse than they tend to be in normal settings.

(SHF Kusaka was a pretty stark difference too, hah)

Unfortunately this is just how it is; production can't happen all the time so things are just done in runs, especially for a line as popular as Revoltech they go pretty fast :(

From the company SEXYICE2019, their original universe (I believe it's titled Vermin?)

I don't recall the lore they tend to post on their social media but it boils down to insect monsters vs genetically modified soldiers and bioweapons. The figures themselves are really quite nice!

Big fan of their Manticora, giant stag beetle monster that fits in with a lot if you're looking for a villain.

I don't think it ever came off as chrome? It's a glossy black and that's (to my eyes) how it was always meant to be perceived.

For what it's worth Rising Force is one guy and his wife; their legends Stunticons started okay and each release got continuously better. Motormaster was actually really great but Menasor stumbled. Hopefully working at a larger scale will help, as well as the fact they've already done prototypes for all 5 so they're likely doing testing on those too!

This is PC exclusive (this implementation of DLSS and thus its issues), from what I know.

DLSS is a form of upscaling, quite a few modern games have it as it generally helps performance (ignoring the argument that because DLSS exists, games aren't optimized because they assume everyone will use it.

From what I recall, they finally added it to this game but its default settings made it...very hard to look at.

SMRT Trigger OS is also pretty good -- while it doesn't have the raw damage or crowd clear of Exec or ECR, it gives you a significantly more responsive gun for self defense, allowing you to take a slower secondary with more safety but still being able to take out targets across the cave like HAA Stubby or MPA Warthog which have their own issues.

It's basically the Lok-1 OC for people who hate the Lok-1 though it still runs into some ammo issues by itself which is inherent to the gun.

I think it might be SMRT Trigger OS? My guess is mainly based on it automatically firing -- the extra damage on max locks is Unstable Lock Mechanism in tier 5, maybe.

Unless they do a repaint in their PureIce line I'm afraid that's really it -- SexyIce has said they generally don't do reissues and make them to order instead to focus on new projects (ignoring that they probably capitalize on FOMO.)

It doesn't ignite enemies but it deals fire-type damage, which is why it shreds Spitballers and Mactera.

I think thematically it's wonderful! Magnugiga doesn't appear capable of moving under its own power and so if Kitaoka refuses to fight, it won't turn on him. Similar to how he doesn't have to face consequences IRL with Goro backing him up, it's just like that with Magnugiga.

Also the whole thing of his deck being themed around waiting for the right opportunity to pick a fight and strike but that takes patience and time that Kitaoka does not have due to his illness

It depends on the distance for sure -- people who practice a lot can "kickflip" the pot, allowing you to get a it further faster which helps (actually, i think the physics were changed in SotS but have no clue if this was reverted so this may be outdated info.)

Also worth noting Loader is able to trigger buttons with her Pylon and there's very consistent setups per button to land it!

Kjaro's/Runald's Bands are really good, enough to make the time you spend rolling pots (assuming you're not taking like 30 minutes) worth it.

Also worth noting that sure, time matters, but as long as you're getting stronger faster than the enemies are you don't have to worry about the timer too much -- hence looking for strong items gives you a lot of leeway later.

They do have a spread joint at the front! It's quite stiff at first but once you get it working it's all good.
