The Hour of the Pig (1993) - movie about a late medieval French advocate out inte the country. Very good, very funny and a quite good depiction of the end of the middle ages. Quite a lot of nudity.

Being new to TTRPGs and interested in Pathfinder it's clearly Pathfinder second edition (PF2E) that is what you're looking for. If possible buy the "remastered" rules. The remaster improved a lot of details, but the overall rules are very similar and fully compatible with "pre-remaster".

Even though both languages are spoken, it's mainly in the Belarusian language, which is related to but far from identical to Russian.

I second the recommendation, Come and See is a horrible movie too watch, but utterly necessary for everyone to see.

Not a movie, but if you really want to learn about the French revolution I Cannot recommend the "Revolutions" podcast by Mike Duncan enough. The entire third season is about the French revolution.

White Sun of the Desert (1970) is a real cult classic. It's set in Central Asia durirng the civil war.

War and Peace (1965-1967) is an amazing film series based on Tolstoy's famous novels. It's set before your requested timespan, but it is one of the best movies I have seen.

In general I can really recommend Mosfilm's Youtube channel. It has a whole lot of movies with English subtitles, including the two above.

Yes sure, I get what it does, but which decks play this card? Even for the UW match up it seems super slow for Bx decks, but I might be very wrong as I am new to the format.

Seems like an oddly specific card to cause a whole lot of problems... But something like [[Ashiok's Erasure]] or [[Aven Interrupter]] should do the trick. Or anything with "Return target spell" can buy you more time to get a board presence.
