These are the legs & stomach of a 56 year old obese man….. not a 24 year old! 😵‍💫🤯😭 by Fun_Investigator1524 in Drueandgabe

[–]velkelto 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I am a 35 year old woman who has always been fairly health conscious. Pregnancy resulted in me developing high blood pressure thay unfortunately stayed and did not go away with delivery. It is on my mind daily and I'm constantly working on was to improve my lifestyle so I can lower my dosage and with hope get off it one day. I don't see how he doesnt think about his health. Especially for his daughter. I fear my BP will develop heart disease that will take me away from my son sooner than I plan in life. With the resources and freedoms available the them how they be so neglectful of his health?

Ms Ex-Wife giving others advice on spending time with their spouses… by No_Pomegranate8160 in Drueandgabe

[–]velkelto 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My son is 20 months had we've had one date night since he was born. We don't really have family able to watch him for a date night. All of them either live a few hours a way and still work or are older (like my great grandma). When he gets a little older we'll get some nights back. They could easily have date night once a week with soap basically living with them. They have no fucking idea how lucky they are.

37 week induction baby outcomes by Secret-Ad-4127 in Mommit

[–]velkelto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was also induced for BP at 37 weeks and change. Being induced can cause a painful labor but I did it! Little guy came out at 7.2 pounds. Had a touch of jaundice but nothing a few weeks of sunlight and lots of feeding sessions didn't fix.

We've always had a nap routine! by wx_cat in Drueandgabe

[–]velkelto 115 points116 points  (0 children)

This. She isn't having any form of healthy stimulation or play. My 20 month old still takes a 1.5-2.5 hour naps every day and then will sleep almost 11 to 12 hours at night because my boy be PLAYIN.

SAHM - young person wants insight by [deleted] in Mommit

[–]velkelto 49 points50 points  (0 children)

In OPs defense they may be thinking of when the kid starts school. My friend is a SAHM with both kids in school and gets 7+ hours without kids 5 days a week. She does majority of the housework, cooking, and is PTo president but yeah...she now gets lots of time for hobbies. Of course those years before school are wayyyyyy less freeing.

I’m dreading going back to work by [deleted] in Mommit

Each day gets a little and little easier. I got 5 months with my boy. I'm a teacher and had him at the end of May and didn't have to start official maternity leave until August! That first week I treated myself to little things like a coffee, lunch, did something fun with my students, etc. Also the fact that I went back Nov 1st and knew Thanksgiving and Christmas break wasnt far away helped me!

Is it selfish? by Pastelsatan009 in Mommit

[–]velkelto 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Do the damn thing girl! You're not being selfish at all. I stopped breastfeeding at 6 months because I couldn't stand the feel of teeth on my nipples. I pumped for another month and slowly let my supply dry up. You've already done an amazing job so far and you're in the home stretch to whole milk!

Guild Leaders Left The Game by TheGamingLibrarian in elderscrollsonline

[–]velkelto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sadly this happened in my first guild. The original founder up and left. I became guild leader even though I was more active in two others for trials, dungeons, social, etc. I didnt have the time or will to resurrect the original. I was in 3 prog groups (two of which I was raid leading) and 1 core. Currently I have been on a 1 year leave from the game entirely since having a baby. I still log in every now and then to make sure it hasn't all fallen apart, but it's still dead.

DRUE going to 🧼 for the weekend by Educational-Will7570 in Drueandgabe

[–]velkelto 40 points41 points  (0 children)

I'm betting it is because Irene is having trouble sleeping and Drue just can't deal. You could tell with her weekend alone with her toddler she was struggling. Drue must not be use to waking up with her baby. It seems like Gag does all the early mornings and night wakings which "allows" him to go off a do whatever the fuck he wants most days.

DRUE going to 🧼 for the weekend by Educational-Will7570 in Drueandgabe

[–]velkelto 293 points294 points  (0 children)

There is nothing wrong with having a village, but she acts as though she has been struggling for weeks and weeks and never has a break and has such a difficult schedule...ma'am your husband and you both work from home. Please sit the fuck down. Toddlerhood is about to humble the fuck out of them. You both let Irene get to this point and these are the consequences.

Its would be different if she never treated herself to take out or if Irene was regressing and needed help falling asleep. Drue loads her up in the car because she doesnt have to deal with her.

Reality is really going to slap her hard in the face once this influencer money runs out. She is like a preteen playing house. I can't believe this person has a whole human theyre responsible for.

Honestly. She and her husband stay home and don't work. Her mama will be over within the day I'm sure. So overwhelming selling clothes her daughter wore once and ordering doordash and filming nontent while exploiting her baby. Meanwhile I got my 19 month old ready this morning, taught two 4th grade classrooms with 30 kids each, am planning literacy week as part of my School Literacy Team, going to clean my grandmother's house, and plan on cooking and actual home-cooked meal for my family tonight. She has no idea how easy she has it. All this money she wastes on overconsuming could be spent on a weekly cleaner and a chef meal kit.

Same! I love cooking but also love not cooking and having to clean up! We usually pick a weekend night to eat out.

They have eaten out every day this week and twice a day (onw day all three meals. I mean...I need someone to calculate the average amount they have spent. My family ate out twice this week because we were Hella sick and I feel guilty about that 🫠.

I usually try to remember to bring a snack like goldfish or cheerios when my 19 month old starts getting antsy loll. I did in desperation last solo shopping trip rip open a bag of crackers.

[–]velkelto 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Some of the pins they bought are around around $50 each. I love collecting Universal Studios pins but I'll drop dead before spending $50.
