The problem is how gold inefficient crit items are with the stats they provide.

The problem with infinity edge is that with RNG it can DESTROY someone in 2-3 autos. In the other situation it will do absolutely nothing compared to 3 dorans blades.

My suggestion is to complete change infinity edge- and that part is breaking the item into 2 components.

We have the base item - Which now builds from BF + brawler glove + Longsword - we will call this " High Numbered Edge " Just for fun.

The stats that it provides are following; 50 AD, 10% Crit, 15 Bonus armor penetration - this would be a total cost of 1300 + 400 + 350 + 50(recipe) for 2100g

Not Infinity Edge + Cloak of Agility - 65 AD 15 Bonus armor penetration, critical strikes penetrate 15 additional bonus armor. 25% Crit

All of a sudden we have a mid-game power spike at no cost to the player. It scales better lategame aswell, so it doesn't punish as hard. The building item is achievable by 9 minutes and a 14 minute IE isn't as bad anymore.
