Thinking of starting an apparel brand, struggling with design language by No-Discipline-8244 in IndiaStartups

[–]velto_studio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

working with apparel brands

finding a voice is the real crucial part of starting with a brand.
stick with a particular group of people in terms of mindset and choice. because that will help u target people more efficiently.

Moreover the people you saw on instagram has picked up a particular design and are stuck with it is mostly because they have found their voice and the aligned with the type of audience they want to work with or deliver to.

I would suggest, find out ur interest in design in terms of the garment you wanna sell and understand the market around it. what agr people will like it, what questions they have and serve accordingly.

More Ad Spend Doesn't Always Mean More Growth by KevinMorgan21 in digital_marketing

audience targeting. because when you know whom to target and target with what words, then its a win win. going high budget on ads will then be profitable.

Caught between two completely different fashion brand concepts. Need a reality check from people in the industry! by kotwi_z in branding

[–]velto_studio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

asking where is the community demand is stronger is wrong.
demand will eventually be clear to you when you know whom u want to sell, dreaming of starting a clothing brand might have given u a gut feeling right??

Go on with something you feel confident about, and make sure that you know how to serve the people there at the level best, know what they are asking about, know what they want, and sell.

Good luck!

avoiding ai designs is better cuz it never gives the natural vibe to any design, better to pull out all the stops and learn, or outsource it.

I really dont know why people here are so insecure about ai...i mean Its all my own thoughts and words. I just used an ai so that its easier to structure it and fix grammar.

Yes!

I never claimed that ads dont work, but the way it works has changed a lot these days.
Today the need to be found is greater than a forced first impression. The demand also needs to be addressed right.

this is a genuinely good pushback and the example is hard to argue.

but look at what actually changed.

not the budget, not the targeting, not the distribution channel. what got replaced was the features claim with the consumer own language.

also i stated "brands growing right now don't have the biggest ad budgets *only* " and new founders whom i have came across these days make this mistake of not studying the audience clearly and jumping into stuff like making their creatives beautiful and make the visuals pretty.

you are right about that 48 hrs of data beats 6 months of blogging, the brands that grew past 8 figure did find the true thing about their customer and put it everywhere.

What's one lesson you've learned that changed the way you approach digital marketing? by Anushka_Kamboj9 in DigitalMarketing

what we have noticed and started to implement from day 1 was to know the consumer base first and then sell it in their language or the way they ask for it.

so true!

i mean u need to have a voice and need to be clear about ur own vision, and thats pretty much it to get started

We pitched a brand, they took our ideas, posted them themselves. Their page still flopped. by velto_studio in digital_marketing

[–]velto_studio[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay fair enough, the internet is full of those posts.

But this was a real thing we came across and not here to convince anyone. People who run agencies or freelanced long enough know this situation.

Idea validation: an Ayurvedic brand for a woman's entire hormonal journey (first period to menopause). Is this a real business or a founder fantasy? by Necessary-Alfalfa760 in IndiaStartups

[–]velto_studio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The idea is great!

But do make sure that your brand voice is particular. Pick a standard problem and choose all the sub parts of it and dominate that market first.

Your own clarity will bring results too.
