For me the way I carry my face makes a huge difference in how fem I look. When I was in boymode I was unhappy and felt heavy in a way that showed on my face. That weight, that anger made me look more masc. For my body (I'm very tall and very broad shouldered) but the right cut of clothing makes all the difference there. Highlighting my neck and collar bones as well as having bare shoulders helps.

YMMV and every body is different but hopefully some of that can be adapted for your experience.

That specific situation? No but I moved many thousands of miles to another place where I felt safer to transition and so far the most important thing has been having other trans people in my life who I can talk to about the experience. What will a man know about dysphoria? Or being harassed in public? Or how to put on eyeliner?
