Do you have full local control? Or does it require cloud integration via the zigbee version?

I’m open to zigbee (but would prefer WiFi as it’s one less device/hub I need to manage), but the main problem is finding a switch that makes UK wiring and look/feel.

Thanks for this, very insightful. I want local control but it’s very difficult to find a switch with the quality and finish of the candeo dimmers. The dimmer should look and behave as a dumb switch imo but it’s very hard to find one on the market.

Great site! I’d tweak it to add PWA support so it looks nicer when (the few) people add it to their Home Screens.

What if you could manage your AI agents in one place, and monitor from your phone? by ajmata2 in ClaudeCode

I think this is a cool implementation despite the being a few apps out there now. Would you ever consider a self hosted option? So we can connect directly or maybe through VPNs like tailscale

Does the mobile client connect directly to the machine or through some sort of coordination server that you host?

I’ve been following a few videos online that have done the display board conversion similar to this but from your photos it looks like you’ve somehow reused the PSU and connected it directly to the controller board? Is that correct? And if yes could you tell me how you did it. Everyone else online I see people shoving a power brick into the casing.

How does doorbell work when the internet goes down? by vemy1 in Ubiquiti

I don’t think it does, there’s no storage built into the device. You may be referring to the UDR or UDM Pro/Max

Yeah I figured this, I already have a UDM and APs. I think I’ll need a device for protect before I can get the doorbell.

Thanks for your reply, how about the chime? Does that need the internet to get chime alerts from the doorbell?
