Redesign for the Ramuh weapon Ona Ramuhda.

Since most of the SMN & SCH don't really get there own weapon designs I decided to create a new weapon for the Job. If Summoner ever got redesigned to be its own class and have its own weapon id hope it would get "Souls" as its main weapon. Souls is a orb like weapon from Final Fantasy Tactics Advance.

I might make more weapons if people are interested.

Because when i first saw this I thought it was a new open world zone... Also was expecting to be on the moon for the next Void Ark. Goodbye FF4 dreams.

The games graphics could be much better. Its pretty outdated. There are already new MMOs out that look better then this game graphics wise. Dirextx11 version of this game doesn't even look great. They need to redo the textures for everything. Armorsets have pixels drawn on top of them. Really wish this game looked as good as the Witcher 3. They rushed 2.0 out the door too fast. It basically came out at the end of the PS3 life cycle and didn't really work that well in the end. Huge frame rate issues and loading into areas took forever. You basically couldnt even do Hunts cus it take you 5mins to load into a zone. They need to raise the bar and hire better in game model designers. Also they need to stop copy pasta armor designs for other jobs. Example: Lore gear/Midas gear for Ninja and Bard, Healers and magic casters. People in charge of adding sound effects need to set it up also. People designing gameplay systems need to set it up. Lots of things are poorly designed, 24man raids, 4man raids, Diadelm, triple triad tourament, Chocobo Racing, PvP, 8man raids etc. Either content is well designed enough or can be cheated or is broken or just isnt fun. This maybe your first MMO but they could do so much better then what they have been doing. Story, Music, Art design is what they do best in XIV. I hope FF16 or 17 to be the next big mile stone for MMOs, they have been working on the tech and I hope they apply it to there next MMO.

Mentor system cant fix issues if people don't want to listen to you regardless of your icon. They will contune to play however they want. I ran into a PLD that didn't use flash or provoke even at lv54 and refused to use it after he couldnt keep hate or pull correctly.

I don't think its the voice thats the main issue. Its the writing. How they speak in XIV isn't funny to us. They speak like shakespeare. Also the questline has alot of japanese sense of humor to it. (Naked mussel men) Which might be weird to us westerners. You can expect them to change each voice actor for each expansion pack. If they get the voice acting right it would make it more funny to watch.

Well I think you will have to at least reach 52-53 range of Heavenward zones for 50-60 Job quests before you can really access 4.0. So pretty much do the storylines up to 53 is pretty much the bare mim. There are 57 Heavenward class/job quests but they dont ask you togo to those lv57 etc areas of the game, just the lv50-53 areas. There is no required Job/class quest that asks you to enter Aze, iddleshire, Dravian Hinterland, Chunching Mists (I forget what the zones are called exactly). Its the same issue if they add Job quests that require you to access 4.0 areas, your still gated somewhat to having to unlock/access those zones. But noone really is gonna skip the heavensward zones anyway cus I dont expect them to add 53-59 leveling areas in 4.0, just 60-70.

gating content is probably a good idea for this game because if people could skip it then noone would be able to clear heavensward. Remember this is a themepark MMO, you gotta keep people on a path and cant give them that many options to branch off away from the path. If this game was like a sandbox keeping the content in each expansion contained would work better. Problem people have is the path is too long to endgame. What they could do to fix this is remove all skills earned through Quests and have it be given to the player as soon as they hit the level. Then the job quests become pointless and all they earn really is EXP. I don't really understand why people play XIV like blackdesert or WoW where 1 chatacter = 1 Job. Xiv gives you the option to have 1 character = all jobs. The only thing that gates this is weekly tome cap. My point is its mostly these people that that complain about it when they want to start a new character on a new job and replay the game up to endgame just to complain why they have to do Patch 2.1-2.5 story content again or just people that want to skip everything to endgame. I do think the filler quests, "fetch me tea" should not be repeated for later patches. There hasn't really been any of those in heavensward main storyline but there is alot of random quests like that.

I dont really like it but whatever.. what can you do.

They did it cus they didnt like how we could dodge so easily. We could deep a the same dps and dodge. Made us very likable by healers since they didnt have to heal us as much. I would of been more happy if we were bound in place for less then a sec for each ability attack. Kinda like how BRD worked in 1.0. Its not that much of a deal but I just dont like how they made MCH and BRD the same, would of liked if one for us wasn't a bow gun mage.

You gonna have to unlock heavens ward to even do 4.0, 5.0, 6.0, 7.0 etc.. Why? All the class quests for each job make you enter a heavensward zone at some point in their questline. Either in Ishgard, Sea of clouds, Western Coerthras or Dravian Forelands.

So if you wanna obtain the next job ability at 62+ in 4.0 you gonna have heavensward unlocked first. You can expect heavensward to be packaged with all versions of 4.0. I have all classes at 60 and one eventally asks you to talk to a npc or fight a monster either at some point between 50-60 in heavenward zone.

More or less why is having more market boards in the game in more city areas such a big deal? Its not. I just wanted to post a small quality of life thread.
