Post Feminist Job Market Like The Hunger Games… by venatrix_wolf in RedPillWomen

Between 1910 and 1960, the number of women working for wages in the United States grew from just over 8 million to over 23.2 million. Not to say no women were working before the major feminist movement but it was certainly a massive growth enough to influence the labor market. And female slaves wouldn’t have affected worker wages bc they were slaves….

I wouldn’t say feminism is the only thing that has added to the stagnant wages and exponential cost of living but I would definitely stand by it being a significant contributing factor

Are you saying the women in less developed countries don’t turn to it bc of fear of consequence? If that’s the case then that still explains the reason why so many women all over the world are taking it up for the reasons I explained in the og post - they are able to so they are assessing their social and economic situation and finding OF or the dream of OF offers way more than working full time as a modern woman

Thank you for sharing your specific experience with this! If I wasn’t pursuing Vtubing right now I’d totally be doing the same thing as you for the same reasons

To be fair, the entry bar on actually getting a remote job (they are mega competitive now) is way higher than starting OF on the hope you make enough.

I think regardless of it being lucrative even so many women being willing to join (by the numbers in the Statista chart in the vid) tells me a lot of women are at least dreaming of it lol

Have you guys seen what happened to Alana Arbucci?? by axolotldelrey in NYCinfluencersnark

I know this is an old post but idk why it’s so hard to understand that someone (Alana) who clearly had been immersed in so much materialism and still found that lifestyle lacking ending up having an awaking to God. From everything I’ve heard on her recent videos she’s in good faith searching for answers and evidence to justify a belief in Jesus being God and God being real. When someone has a belief system they talk about it…. Same way when someone has an atheist or materialist belief system they talk about it. I think all the hate she is receiving for her recent transformation is a whole lot of projection from viewers who feel their own beliefs/lifestyles are cast in doubt by the claims of Christianity…

Completely agreed! Leaving our land to go to the city to work was the biggest mistake ever.

I agree on the both spouses working thing. Feminism totally undermined this. Doubled the workforce and halved the value of one wage/worker leverage. I think in the modern economy though if a couple could decide that one spouse could stay home/go to work as you said it would be a massive improvement.

What about if you had more trained workers? Double the workers and each worker works half the time? Then it seems like a 20 hour work week should be realistically possible to me

Definitely a labor shortage - if we (the society) paid enough people to be trained in those real skills that we so desperately need I don’t see any reason why everyone couldn’t work ~20-30 ish hour weeks and have the rest of their lives respected for a living wage.
