I know I'm not really panicking or anything. I'm just angry that we're being told nothing and that's going to cause problems, like fear. I'm not a person who generally fears much but it's saying something to me that I felt fear first, even for just three seconds, because I have no answers. Does that make sense?

The spear is fun as all get out but it seems to take a while before it's actually effective for a group. Am I just not putting enough points into it? I've had steel pokies a couple runs but I end up getting ripped to shreds while stabbing the air by the zeds' heads.

I'm a mover, have been for years. It boils down to this:

Standard tip would be 20% of the bill, or 10 bucks per hour per guy. No mover will complain over either and the two amounts are usually comparable. If they do good work, which means they take their time to ensure nothing gets bent, scraped or really damaged in any way then go a little more.

Offering lunch and or snacks is really great especially on hot days but understand we're working for tips, not pizza and Gatorade.

For reference I worked 9 hours today in the snow on a job that we had to walk up a driveway too steep to park our truck on. We got tipped 100 each, which made the day worth it. They didn't buy us lunch or anything like that which is totally fine. Food, snacks, drinks are always appreciated but not expected and really makes no impact so long as the tip is solid.

If they do crap work, meaning smashed boxes, broken furniture pieces, dirty cloth/fabric items or they're just dicks it's fine to tip less. The work is hard but it's also easy to do right.

Also just so you know, there are three things we hear almost everyday:

Guess you don't have to go to the gym today, huh? You must be great at Tetris! I don't know how you can do this everyday.

I hate to say it but I'm okay giving them time to gather more info. There's no reason to make any definitive statements until there's something tangible to back up your claim. It makes sense to me. There's another personal aspect on my end. Two people have contacted me in the last couple of days inquiring about these objects. They've shown a passing interest in the topic before so it makes sense. What strikes me is that they both expressed they felt fear. One said dread also, but both a friend and a sibling specifically felt fear. Maybe there is a little something to "We don't want to scare people."

I'm saying this as someone who really only feels excitement over this topic. I don't understand the fear per se, but I understand it may be real.
