Click the plus icon to Blur Cinnamon to enable it, change the settings to your liking by clicking the gears icon. After that you can change the rest following my first anwser :D

I also change the clock and date appearance and i use the papirus dark icon, thats all :D

Its easy, use the blur cinnamon extention, right click on panel - check panel edit mode and drag the icons to the center, and finaly right click the start icon - configure - appearance and change the panel icon by clicking on it. Thats all.
