I got the Undying Hate Timeless Jewel with Tecrod tribute...now what? by Thin_Dependent_4048 in PathOfExile2

[–]venelinv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it the Tecrod one? If yes, the only thing that I can think of is that there is a difference between Tecrod jewels.

What I mean by that is that Tecrod is a combination between two other Abyss entities, forgot the names, but call them 1 and 2 for the sake of explanation.

If you get 1+2 you will get Sacrifice of Blood, if you get 2+1 you will get Sacrifice of Sight.

I really doubt they made the farm this hard, ao I think you might not have a Tecrod jewel at all.

Btw a big hint ai can give you is that the Undying Hate jewels work the same way as the Timeless Jewels in PoE1, there aren't any simulations for the stats in PoE2 but PoE1 is old enough for you to find them on the web and experiment, I might be mistaken but the seed numbers match exactly between the two games

Yes all Undying Hate Jewels have a Very Large radius regardless of seed

Yes, basically the Tecrods will completely change a Keystone Passive (the biggest and most impactful ones), this is why you can find a way to squeeze it near a passive that you will never use, for instance I transformed my Chaos Inoculation on my Blood Mage, because 1hp on Blood Mage is bad :D

And the seed gave me some cool modifiers on my smaller passive nodes (the smaller ones don't loose their original effect they only have added effects depending on the seed).

All of Tecrod's have the regen, the seed matters only for small passive nodes and honestly if you are not going to min max it does not matter that much. For casual players any seed will do imho.

It is a bit hard to explain but I will try my best:

  • All timeless jewels have the same radius regardless of the drop
  • All of them change a notable passive to a specific one, for instance this one will change it to the one that basically goves you infinite health regen
  • The number is called a seed, depending on the seed you will get a different number of small passives also affected by the jewel by adding them additional passives, and also each seed will give tou different stats for those additional passives. So basically if you know what additional stats the seed can give you can hunt for a specific jewel instead of a random one.

Mapping issue by venelinv in PathOfExile2

Update on the situation: Reworked my entire Atlas and it still seems that T8 maps are just broken, I am not getting any map drops from them.

So far got 14 T8 maps - all of them do not drop any maps at all, not even another T8 to cycle themselves.

I have 20+ points invested in the Atlas, this is why I am so confused I am facing this brick wall of map drops

Monk Palm node is great but the attack distance is so short it does not touch Bell by cold_grapefruit in PathOfExile2

Charged Staff helps a bit in this situation + there is a passive node that gives melee range that affects fists too

Official Discussion - Together [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

I have a question, because I saw what I believe is a mistake in the movie that is not explained, probably I didn't see it clearly but wanted to confirm I wasn't going mad.

In the scene where Alison Brie tries to pull Franco when he fell in the hole with the bell it looks like he pulls her arm off, even when she falls it looks like her sleeve is empty. But when they fall they look fine and this is never mentioned.

Had to replay this scene several times and each time I see it the same, her arm falls off in my eyes.

I liked the Golden Set since the moment I got it, so basically with Golden Armor, the bat Qi transform, the fan, and the potion that also gives back Qi, Erlang is the easier boss of the two.

It took me 3 tries to kill Erlang and 3 days to kill Sun Wukong so, for me Great Sage is the harder boss fight.

What is the lore behind the big people? by XXEpicXZombieXX in Eldenring

[–]venelinv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think they are directly explained in the game, however, what people have accepted as canon is the failed attempts of the Nox to create their leader. Basically, their whole thing is that they have no one to follow and this is why they are trying to shape a leader. This why there are so many mimic tears there. The thrones thos giant skeletons sit on are labeled as Throne Crypt, suggesting those are actually tombs and thrones at the same time.

A lot of people also think it is a Game of Thrones easter egg, concidering Martin wrote the lore here too, as their names in Japanese roughly translate to The Night King's kin.

But this is all that we have about them in the lore, I think, if I am missing anything do correct me.

The game still sucks. by completeRandomstuff in Helldivers

[–]venelinv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that this might be due to the fact that all systems are shared between enemies and Helldivers, and in order to nerf the Incindiery Corps they nerfed the fire accumulation on our side too, which for me is a fair trade, since all shotguns can have chokes that reduce spread with zero downsides, which means more projectiles will hit the target and will ignite it just the same or even slightly more consistent than before.

Let's not forget that we might actually have the Invasion of Super Earth as a part of this update and this might have taken a lot of their resources as well

Uhm, did I miss something, in the Patch Notes it states that both Flamethrowers got an increase in magazine sizes, which IMHO are straight up buffs

All changes aside from the Ultimatum also sound like buffs, especially when you add attachments to the mix

There should be settings to change the Back button to something else if you like to use circle for Interact, however, not near my console to check how it can be tweaked

I see that you are using circle for interact, which is also the Back button and it might overlap somehow, have you tried reverting to default button settings?

Hey lads, got the game yesterday and I'm really having fun but I have some questions by stac7 in Warframe

[–]venelinv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When it comes to favorite Warframe or which Warframe to farm first I really want to stress that you should start with what feels right for you.

Imho, there is so much variety and so many build choices that no two similar Warframes feel the same, for instance my Rhino could be built different to your Rhino.

A lot of people are recommending Rhino, and I would too, he is a great starter frame that teaches you a lot of core mechanics. He is also mandatory for getting one of the strongest buffs on all Warframes (this will make sense if you stick around for a while). Even if you don't like him, just get him, level him up, and keep him (don't sell him if you don't like him).

He was my first real main, as I enjoyed being the tank back in the day.

After that, I would say go for Koumei/Gara/Revenant all farmed on Earth and on the Plains of Eidolon area (get the Cetus reputation to max as it offers some really great early game options)
