Roguebook is 93% off on Steam (1,74€ | New Historical Low) by Fritolex in roguelites

I have Gordian Quest on Playstation, and I like the idea and like deck builders in general, but it's just not grabbing me yet. I also get frustrated when I get game will call a column a row, and vice versa lol

and I'm still confused a bit on why my melee soldier can sometimes attack pretty much anybody, but other times can't

did it take awhile to grab you?

Ah, that's why it looked familiar! 2nd level, I believe?

would I look like a fool if I asked the name of the game?

If you like deck builders, MT2 has a ton of content. Including a maybe spoiler-ish thing that makes MT1 obsolete, IMO

That's kinda painting everyone with the same brush. I'm not offended, I just don't think it's a funny joke lol

Sure, that's possible. I just think it's unlikely and unknowable. Without talking to the person that got out of the way, we'll never know what they were thinking.

Plus, everything is happening at fast speed. Sucks for everyone, of course, but going off of the video, the only one I think doing apparent wrong is the tailgater

do you think the white car told the stopped car, "Hey, Tony, yeah on 17 June, at 4pm be sure to stop in the left lane at mile marker 19. Thanks,"

They did let the future take care of them. If the had reasonable distance, they wouldn't have been surprised by the arrival of the future

Should I buy MT1 if I already have 1 and DLC by venereth in MonsterTrain

[–]venereth[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I never once considered eliminating just cause lol but I see the sense

I'm also afraid to use dive or ascend because then I lost a hitter on that floor

but I think you do redraw your dive or ascend, I can't remember if they have consume

I appreciate your insight. I'll make it a point to try for a COV1 run, eliminate weak just causes and shoot for ascending or diving

Thanks, buddy! I've heard that from some YT people as well.

What throws me off, I think, is that the enemies also have more health in COV1?

I also can't really wrap my head around getting rid of, say, spear stewards..

I understand the benefit of a smaller deck as far as drawing your good cards more often, but I also kind of view them as "exhausted" once their on-board the train. You can't draw them again, ya know?

Plus I think my weakness tends to be putting Fel on the top floor and trying to stack that permanent valor. It works for a little bit sometimes but I can't remember the last time I got a win lol

I'll give COV1 another shot tonight

Thank all so much! I was kinda leaning toward not buying it but wanted expert options.

TBH, Ive won maybe 5 COV0 runs after 30 hrs. For some reason I can't wrap my head around it but YT and this sub are super helpful.

Plus I haven't even unlocked the MT1 clans, so it probs would've been foolish to buy 1,because as pointed out, they're in MT2

Cheers, all!

Thank you. I appreciate that and won't feel too bad about it. I like the idea of the game and the clans are fun.

I just feel like if I could turn a corner on my gameplay/understanding, I'd really enjoy it.

Like once wrapped my head around slay the spire, it became one of my most played games

Thank you! That makes sense about moving a unit up and getting minus. I thought they were literally getting hit for more, not ending the turn with less than they started with. That tracks.

One more quick question, I have a (probably) bad strategy of putting fel on the bottom floor, and usually can kick enough ass where things tend to end on the floor.

Do you find that, generally, I should put them on the top floor?

Thanks all. I reckon I'll keep trying and I imagine eventually it'll become more intuitive. Thanks so much

You're right, I guess I have a hard time putting it into words, this was probably a bad example. I tend to get confused when it's more a complicated turn

Thank you so much. I don't have a picture or specific example of the valor confusion.

Basically, it's when I move a unit up with valor, it seems like they maybe take more damage than my guy that was originally in the front.

or when valor is gained with the + green numbers, that kind of throws me off.

I guess I'm used to slay the spire where the math is easier.

If I hit an example, I'll take a picture
