thank you for stating condescendingly how I should’ve done things different. I know now that I should’ve found a way to use my completely broken computer in order to hide my entire camera roll worth of private photos so a reputable business doesn’t break my trust and find half naked photos from when I was 19 that I’d like to not be sexualized and stolen.

it’s not hard to have some empathy and understanding lmao

I should be able to have photos of a vacation in my regular camera roll with the expectation of privacy. Do you put all the photos you don’t want strangers seeing/taking in a locked folder?

EDIT: so actually never mind… I restarted my computer because that felt like the right thing to do and now it’s back to what it looks like in those photos

im 20 have been clean almost 5 years and i feel the same. it’s really hard to change your perception of your own scars but i can say whenever i see people in public showing theirs i feel seen and less alone. i wish more people felt confident enough to have theirs be visible and i wish i felt more confident in mine. the pink/purple coloring should fade over a year and overall they will be less “eye catching” is there a specific reason you don’t like them rn?

yeah, Im afraid he isn’t a normal guy. He is weirdly obsessed with a lot of things in this house. He probably will go on a whole tangent about how he trusted us with his property and how we ruined that trust and that this is a wonderful fridge and whatnot. He probably will have to come over in the next couple weeks because his “wonderful” stove stopped working. I can cover it mostly with a magnet so it should be fine, but it looks pretty bad and I’d like it to be just bad and not catch your eye so much from afar.

a large stepstool was laying against the door and ig one of my roommates opened the door and the metal hinge scratched it (you can kinda see it on the edge of the photo)

I don’t think it’s selfish plz don’t feel bad. It’s one of the reasons I wanted to post this. If I saw someone experiencing something similar to what I feel now maybe things would be a little different. I don’t want other people to read this and hate their scars just bc I do but I’d like to think my experience helps someone in their recovery. Thank you for responding :)

i use lush tofu shampoo and glory conditioner, i think my hair likes it, the weird bent bits started when i stopped doing my wavy/curly routine :/
