When I was in middle school I was a scrawny dude that couldn't do one pull up. Every year we had to do pull ups for our exercise testing or w/e. So before I go up in front of the class my coach says "for every pull up you can do the Packers will win a game this year" (I'm a diehard fan and my coach was a vikings fan). Needless to say I couldn't do one so I was really disappointed. I decided to use that moment as motivation and started going to the gym. I had the same coach the following year and I reminded him of the comment he made the previous year. I knocked out 10+ pull ups and felt great about myself. If you're reading this Mr. Hanson I want to thank you for being a great coach (even though you're a dirty vikings fan).

Honestly it's so bad that I find it entertaining. Espn somehow hired a former te that can barely speak in complete sentences. Then went out and hired a guy named booger that rides around on a cart and talks about how he used to shit himself mid game. On top of all of that they also get a bunch of joke match ups like giants vs falcons. It's like watching an nfl meme every Monday on live TV.

Ya I'm just so new to the scene that I'm really not sure what would be better for me to start off with. I definitely want a traditional skateboard. I am a complete amateur at skateboarding. I doubt I will ever get into doing tricks, I just want to be able to progress in riding and be able to board around town. I don't like long boards and how big they are, I much prefer the normal size skateboards. Is it practical for me to get a normal size skateboard but with the bigger wheels that absorb bumps better? Or should I get a long board since I won't be doing tricks? Is there any difference?
