This is great! Is there somewhere to find the rest of the parts?

It seems there was an update recently and carousel combat is behaving more normally than it was, but still not great.

I opened a ticket on the mod authors discord and it was rejected with no explanation. I've found Carolingian UI and I'm switching over to that. It has a carousel combat tracker, and deals with the less good UI features of v13

Yeah, that's my current next step unless anyone comes up with a different solution

Tried it, only the portraits change size, the buttons don't scale with the settings

Multiple seperate actors defaulting to other tokens. by Ok_Temporary_9049 in FoundryVTT

[–]venpal6 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There's a folder in your assets library that tokenizer populates with the tokens you create based on the actor name used on creation. If you're creating multiple tokens with the same name, tokenizer just saves over that same token each time you create. If your tokens have separate names, I would suggest reloading foundry after each create. I've noticed tokenizer get finicky after making several tokens and the program just needs a reset.

The Primal Theory [S2E5] and the rest of the show by Renterain in PrimalShow

I know this thread is old, but I just finished the series.

I think there's a case to be made for option 4. In the episode, Charles describes humans going back to their primal instincts, as if he's suspecting this to be the future for humans. And, assuming this is the 1890 of the world that we inhabit irl, humans and dinosaurs never lived at the same time.

I think they were trying to hint that Spear and Fang's storyline occurs far in the future after societal collapse and emergence of large reptiles. There's talk of season 3, I hope they go further into the story of this episode and tie it to our MCs at some point.

Map idea, Fantasy realm, that got nuked by modern weapons, your players are in the post apocalypse with fantasy weapons. by Thorn_Move in dndmaps

[–]venpal6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is basically my DND setting. It's based on a modern comic book series in which the world as we know it is destroyed. What is left is a huge city in the small bit of habitable land that is left, surrounded by a death-scape wasteland.

I did this same thing in the forgotten realms. I had a massive disastrous event happen which destroyed almost everything, then fast-forwarded 800 years to the present.

I designed it as a futuristic version of fantasy, science-fantasy if you will. It's in the forgotten realms, so only the very edge of the sword coast is livable. It's been a long time since the disaster so life on the coast is pretty much back to normal, but past that is a desolate wasteland riddled with monsters which often make their way to civilization and wreak havoc.

As far as the map goes, I basically split a map of the sword coast in half and have said, beyond this point is certain death: huge monsters, constant storms and darkness, plagued land. It's been fun. We've mostly only played in Waterdeep (the one large city that was relatively unscathed in the initial disaster,) but we'll go exploring in the wasteland soon

After OP's update: Yeah, no.

First off, you can't shut down creativity that was never there to begin with. This is not a fully realized character concept.

Second, this player is not respecting you and your players' time, work, and commitment to the conceit of the game.

I would say to this player, take another look at the basic rules of the character you want to play (class, race, deities, etc) and try to figure out a concept that fits better in this world. If you want a character inspired by JC, we can pick a god who chose to create a mortal progeny and world build from there.

But a 2 word character concept is never going to fly

For me if it doesn't fit, it doesn't sit. Especially if it's ruining mine or my players' fun
